I have one that I bet you would never believe happed unless you were there. My husband had been up all night before I was taken to the hospital in the morning of my youngest daugter birth. It had time to sink in and get to him that he was going to have another child. So he was scared to death. So he was so tired that he fall asleep in my room and slept through the delivery of our youngest child. Lets see if someone can top that I'm look forward to finding out. Happy Mylotting!!!

My best friend's husband got the call that she was in labor at 6am, he was "out of town" about 3 1/2 hours away. He knew the night before that she was having serious contractions and that things would happen quickly as she had been in preterm labor the majority of the pregnancy with the twins. Not only did he stay where he was---he went back to sleep after getting the 6am call (twins were born 1/2 hr later at 6:33 and 6:35am) and didn't bother to head home until later that day! Unfortunately, it came out that it was because he was having an affair and he was with his mistress that week on a mini-vacation. UGH!!! Luckily, she wasn't alone...her mom and sister and i were all there and she said she wouldn't have had it any other way...

That's really bad, but I guess if he already knew the drill I think I wouldn't mind if he fell asleep. I'll bet the nurses and dr. got a chuckle out of it.
My ex-husband almost passed out when I was giving birth to my son. The nurses were real worried about him. He almost got more attention than me.

Oh my, now I have not been through that kind of thing yet, but I would definitely throw something at my husband (the one I do not have yet), if he fell asleep during the labor, the man has to suffer with me is my philosophy, no way am I doing it alone haha, even if he is in the same room, he will not be dreaming while I am SCREAMING! haha. Well I am sure you have forgiven him by now? There will be jokes about it forever, and I can tell you who your daughter will favor as a parent in the future hehe. Have a nice day or night.

Wish you best of luck with finding your husband that you don't you have. Oh trust me I threw something at him and my sister hit in the head and the nurses yelled him but he slept threw it all. Yes I for gave him. I didn't care so much about having him in the delivery room I want my sister there with me. Me and her have been threw it all. Happy Mylotting!!!!

My fiance wasn't feeling well so left to go home. I called him when i was 7 cm and told him to get his but up here. When it was time to push i was freaking out because he wasn't there. He made a entrance just as my son was crowning. Afterwards he told me he has got in an accident while on the way there. Thats why he barely made it.
