Text Messages!

I got my handphone bill and found out I sent out an atrocious amount of Short Message Services (SMSes) or text messages for some country. 1342 messages sent out in total in a month! Horrible! And guess what, that is not my highest record! I've sent out more than 2000 messages in a month a few years back. Gosh! I can't believe I actually sent so much messages out! Have you guys sent that much message out? Or is that your normal amount of messages sent?

I have blackberry pearl 8120 & I got it for work purpose. I do have unlimited messaging as well as email service on my phone. I get somewhere between 3,000 - 5,000 in total with those 2 combined. Before I've gotten blackberry, I had samsung phone & I still used a lot of text messages. Most of them are work related. Least I've used was about 2,400 text message aone & that was because I was on vacation for a week.

When I wasn't using it for work, that's when I was racking up 2,500 - 3,000 a month. Ever since my position at work changed & I got blackberry, that's when my text messaging & emails jumped up to somewhere in 4,000 - 5,000.

I see, but at least you are using it for work purpose. Maybe upon your next promotion, you will send out like 10,000 messages monthly. LOL. I can see your work needs a lot of communication.

I've send many more messages. But i think you should think why you send out so many messages. Is it the numerous messages to ask people to work? Or the messages that is send out to friends. Sometimes, i think SMS is a waste of time. One message can wast 2 mins of your life. Imagine 100 messages a day, you will waste at least 200 mins of your time, life etc. Probably if it is not necessary, dont send out messages, you are wasting money and your life i guess. Well, not bad. haha... I am a heavy texter especially with the type of job that I have. I usually make around 5 thousand texts in a month. That's more or less. I can send out around 500 in a day. Lol. Since I can use unlimited texting, I try to take advantage of it as much as I can. I'm paying for it anyway.

i used to send lots of messages daily atleast around 250 to 300.. i have just got an idea to count the number of messages i used to sent in a month and i was just shocked to see the count after a month its around 3800..

i sent messages more than 5000+, i also apply for an unlimited text service.. i only pay for less and send message unlimited.. i only 5000+ text messages because i only text one person only, my love one.. heheh

WOW! That's a lot of messages for one person. For a student, I'm using way too much and spending too much time on my phone. LOL.
