why do men hate shopping???

i can only speak for myself but it is not the shopping i hate but the way most women do not know what they actually want or need. when i go shopping it is for a specific thing that i have already checked on the internet and know what i am after. women somehow just go shopiing and look in and at a million things and then go back to the first thing ... it is such a waste of time .. if you want you boyufriend to appreciate the experience then may i suggest you actually think more clearly what you want where you can buy it and how much you intend to pay for it ... we appreciate that more than just walking in and out of shops and having nothing in the end ...

sometimes i dont like shopping because I think it a waste of time.but sometimes when I am upset,I will go shopping for can take away mmy bad mood!

I think shopping is not a male thing! This is naturally a female thing! A male who passes his time by shopping with himsef is considered a female-type male! It looks very odd if a man goes for shopping. It looks more odd if a man every now and then accompanies his wife or girlfriend in shopping. Men naturally think about building a strong career and how to earn livelihood for himself and his family. If he has got an addiction towards shopping then his family may face many problems. The wife goes of shopping, no problem. Because in most cases wives are not required to earn money for the family. Female buddies, please don't get my points wrong. I am saying what is supposed to be natural.

im a girl..i too hate to shop for a long time..i want finish my shopping within one hour..if anyone shop for a long time..i wont give my ideas toward the items they are buying..i want to do everything in a fast anner..except the sleeping..lol..i love to shop..not for a long time..it is hell..may be boys to think the same..hvae a nice time

Oh me and my boyfriend were opposite. He always likes shopping and everytime he asked me to go shop with him, I have to find an excuse. Sometimes it became an argument between us. The reasons why I hate shopping is, I don't like to be in a crowded place, and I don't like to stand or walk around in long periods. I want things to be done quick as quick as I can do. And for me shopping is boring, so now I prefer to shop online than going to a shopping centre. Have you asked your boyfriend why he don't like shopping?

My man just loves to go shopping. Far far more than I do. He can be out shopping the entire day. I would rather sit and talk at a cafe. I know more couples like us too. maybe men just do not like shopping for the kitchen or getting clothes? Give them a sportsenter or a motorshop and they might enjoy themselves?

Most men just don't have the patience to go shopping. They don't like spending time looking for things. They would rather grab something and be done with it. Also, most men end up waiting when they go shopping with their girl. Again, no patience.

I think most men hate to shop because they think it's tedious and they aren't REALLY needed for it. And 'shopping' has somehow/somewhere become a 'girly chore,' so men don't think they should be doing it, it isn't manly. And it's also as simple as, they get bored. lol

Men tend to think it's a tiring job. Because men go shopping to buy what they want and they seldom look at unnecessary products and buy extra things. However, women are different. They like looking around but perhaps they won't buy anything at all at last. Men will think it's wasting time. I love China

I am part of then .999999999% of men who actulay enjoy shopping so I guess I won't be of much help to your question. My only guess is that we men do not like to waste time on anything with shopping it is always in and out we don't like to take time looking around at things and seeign what we like. we will just grab the first thing that looks good and buy it. It is only later when we return home that we realize that we got the wrong thing or something and have to return it. We then realize that if we had just taken a little time in the first palce we would be at home right now watching the game or whatever, try telling us that 3 months later when we end up doing the same thing all over again. Fortunatley for me I am not one of those guys so I don't have this problem, of course that dosen't expalin why i'm still single but that's another story.

I think most men hate shopping because usually they are not shopping for themselves. My husband hates to shop, however if we are going to buy something he wants, then we can take as long as necessary. I myself don't go often, but when I do, I just take my time and make my purchases worthwhile. He'll usually stay home and plop in front of the TV. As long as I leave food for him, he won't bother me... lol...sorta like a dog!

Yes you are right. Almost all the guys dont like to shop especially with their girlfriends or wife...Even my husband tells me the same when I ask him to come for shopping he asks me to go with my friends...I feel they dont have the patience to wait until we select a good one...They cant wait for anything. They are really impatient that is the reason. Nothing else..

different person has diferent view about that, for me i like to go shopping with my girlfriend, i just love that feeling , enjoy the sight of all kinds of goods and with the person i love , to share our chosen goods and the wonderful service provided by the sales persons , i like it .

Hello jewels! Men does not really hate shopping. When they are accompanying female, it takes a lot of time of choosing. And women love to stop in every boutique store to check clothes. Men are impatient with that because all they have to do there is to stand. But men do shops too. If you give him money and tell them to buy a big screen HDTV, inevitably he will love and enjoy to go shop for it!
