Do you believe "What goes around comes around"

A few years ago good friends of ours from church lost their mom and a year later their dad. To add to that the husband had not been able to find a job for over a year. They were sad and broke! Now they had a mobile home that they had to pay for and fix up since the father has passed. Times were better for us then, we had lots of work. They wanted and needed to sell the place. They had no money so we send one of our men to fix the interior and told our friends not to worry about paying for it. Because we were in the business it only cost us just over $200.00 to get everything fixed. Now, two years later, times are really tough for us. Our friend found a job and a renter for the mobile home. Today I got a birthday card from the church and it had a tiny envelope inside. Guess what, my friends sent a check for half the repairs!!! I had forgotten all about it. I joked with them back then saying someday we would need to be paid, just not now. I believe what goes around comes around, do you?

Absolutely and most definitely! And I don't have to see a cash reward to believe it's true. It happens on so many levels. I know people who've lied and cheated all their lives and justified doing so, but eventually their lives go sour. I've also known people who will give others the shirt off their back, and they may not be rich, but they never go hungry. Anytime there's a crisis, there's a solution for these people.

I almost cried when I opened that envelope. Things are really really bad now. Hubby and I were talking about how we never could get help from a bank for our business, only people helped us out. We always help people no matter what our situation. I think that's why we're not rich and always eating.

That is so great. I'm glad they were able to help you when you needed it. I do believe that saying, unfortunatly I've only really noticed it in bad situations. There was this once I found a wallet with $60 in it. I fought with myself for a couple of days, part of me wanted to mail the wallet to the address on the ID inside it. The other part of me was greedy and wanted to spend the money. In the end the greedy side won. But it was only a few days after I spent that $60 that some money just fell out of my own pocket. I believe that was my punishment for not doing the right thing.

It could have, and probably has, happened to anyone and everyone. It was years ago and I learned a good lesson from it.

This certainly is an inspiring story redkathy. What a nice gesture on the part of these people. You found yourself in a troubling time and the goodness came back to you. Yes, I do believe what comes around goes around. You had done a great thing for these people and apparently they really appreciated you for it. Good things come for people who do nice things for others sometimes. Sometimes we just do things for people and really don't want anything in return. In your case you had helped some people who needed some extra help and you did it without much thought. Now you must feel very good about things. Take care.

I think this shows me how God cares for us. I'm the farthest thing from perfect there is but I always try my best to help others. I believe that is what I'm supposed to do. Simple!

Life is a mixed bag..sometimes you find so many good things happening to you that you know you did nothing to deserve, and sometimes you get a bad lot that again you just did not deserve. But I have noticed that ever since I started believing in myself, the good things have happened more. I am lucky that I have never been in times where I had no one to turn to. And maybe because of that, I have the strongest desire to do good in this world, to help as many people as I can. Who knows..it could be that it will come around?

Yes, I do. I wholeheartedly believe in it. I seen it happen more times than not. Even seen it in the Bible too, so I know that karma isn't nothing to mess with. Which is why I try to do the right thing by people.

Yes, I do believe in that. The word for it is also karma. Whatever you do will always get back to you. This is why I don't do thing I regret and also I think things over and try never to do bad things to others. No matter your hardships, you will get what you reap. :)

I totally beleive in what ever you give comes back to you sooner or later. I think it is very correctly said and thus you should always do that what you want others to do for you. Life is a cycle wherein things would definately come back to you whether good or bad.

I really do believe in this. So if I can put any kindness out in the world, it will come around to me when I need it. You just have to be alert to notice this is always true. Even if it's just getting a parking place when you need it. Blessings

I believe in that, too. I believe that there is a reward or punishment for anything we do to or for others. There is always that possibility that what you do for others would be repaid equivalently. It's just a matter of time before we get the equivalent reward/ punishment.
