vertigo

I have been dealing with positional vertigo and severe motion intolerance for about 3 years now and was wondering if anybody else out there has the same problem and how they deal with it? I have not been able to work for over a year now and am trying real hard to get back to the point that I can work even if it is just part time. I have to take medicine that keeps me sedated to a certain point and can't stand reading for very long at a time and also have trouble standing and walking without people thinking I am drunk or something. I did have a cane for a while but with physical therapy I can now get around without it. Please respond if you know anything about this disease.

I don't know a lot about vertigo, but i get dizzy and light headed a lot and
sometimes wonder if that could be vertigo?

My sister in law gets real light headed and dizzy also. They say she doesn't have vertigo but I do the same thing and I have it so who knows.
