I cannot sleep without pillows and blanket. When I am sleeping,I like to hold one pillow in my arms and one pillow below my head. I like to cover myself with blanket when I am sleeping even though is hot weather. If it is a hot day,I would prefer a thin blanket. Lol.

NO i dont think i can have a good nights sleep without a proper pillow. I have had to sleep once without a pillow at a relatives place but had a tough time and finally rolled a bedsheet under my head. My pillow should be soft and should allow passing of air through for a good sleep.

i like to sleep with pillows but i can also sleep without them. it's just a matter of getting used to it. i usually go out on the field and we usually dont bring pillows cause it will occupy a lot of space. that's why i got used to not using pillows at all.. but of course, it would a lot comfortable if you have pillows.
cheers!

For me the question should be "Can you sleep WITH pillows? .
I seldom sleep with a pillow, I'm not just comfortable with it. My bed is clear of pillows actually. I don't like having them under my head since I seem to develop this headache everytime I use a pillow. Yeah, I'm a bit weird, everybody wants pillows and I'm shunning them.

i've tried, but its hard for me, especially if its on a bed. if i'm on a couch and the armrest is cushioned, i should be okay for a while but i'll wake up with one bad neck cramp. at the very least i have 2 pillows, sometimes more. i would like more or new ones at least. mine are all flat by now since they're pretty old and i'm pretty cheap.

Hi vimaal, I love soft pillow. I usually rest my head on my lovely soft pillow during night time. I always go to bed late in the night as I prefer surfing net and playing game in the tranquil night for I could concentrate more on my favorite activities.
After my eyes feel tired for looking the screen for quite a long time. I then would leave it and go to bed. My soft pillow is very thin so I still feel comfortable and could sleep sweetly without any pillow. Very often I like to hug my pillow and rest my head on the mattress and fall asleep soundly straight away.
posting and have a nice day.

I absolutely can not sleep without a pillow under my head! I only use one though - too many pillows makes it difficult for me to sleep as well.

Actually I don't use pillow. I can't sleep with a pillow under my head. And my head aches.
I put a pillow on my forehead and on top of my body while lying. I hug the one that's on my body. But that was before. Now that I'm pregnant I can't simply lie down straight on my bed, because I can't breathe. That's why now I put pillow under my head. I think when I give birth I'll not be using a pillow under my head. Have a nice day!

I can but I prefer to have pillows so that my head would be supported and stiff neck or other muscle pains could be avoided. It's really hard to sleep without pillows but as long as your bed is comfortable enough for you, you could actually sleep with or without pillows.

I can sleep either with the pillow or without the pillow.I like sleeping without the pillow more time.If the pillow was too high, i couldnot fall into sleep.I hear that sleeping with propre pillow is good to your health. It is said that if your brain is higher than your body when sleeping ,you can get more oxygen. Is this scientific?

I can sleep without pillows, but only if I am extremely tired and weary. There haven't been too many situations where I haven't had access to a simple pillow but I've done it before. I usually wake up a little uncomfortable, but it's not that bad.

I do not think that I can sleep without a pillow, but I have never tried it. That's because I have some broad shoulders and if I sleep sideways, my head is hanging in the air and it surely needs something to support it. So I need a pillow somehow. I have spent some night without pillows I guess, especially during train travel but I wake up with a sore neck and back if when i use a substitute like a bag or something.
