Today yahoo sent all of my myLot mail to the spam folder.

YOu know what. YOu had yours in the spam folder. i did not even receive any mylot notifications for 2 days now. What's happening? I too use Yahoo! mail. I just received one informing me I received BR for a discussion but that was it. I had to check my discussions manually to find out if there are people who responded to my new discussion. Hmm! I did not change my profile recently, so really don;t know what's happening.

No, not lately, but I have had this happen to me before. One day, many months ago, I had stopped receiving mylot mail...that is until I looked in my spam folder. Low and behold there it was! So I made sure to add mylot to my contact list and it pretty much resolved the problem. Though after doing so a notification or two gets thrown in there every once in a while. This is why it is a good idea to check the spam folder, to make sure that something of importance doesn't land there, instead of your inbox.

hi gardengerty wow thats awful. I have well and sometimes it will rate some of my lot discussions as spam but it at least lets me see them, and rectify their mistake. talk about deleting things when I first started learning to use my computer I managed to move all my incoming mail to delete folder, then I hit delete and wondered duh where is my incoming mail wah I did manage to retrieve it from my trash bin however, but learned a lot about how and when and where to delete things. but were you able to retrieve all you mylot mail? I have got so I check my notifications then go on into mylot so I can see everything and find friends started, then todays top and hot, then maybe I might make a discussion.

sure, you were missed. another person had said she hadn't got anything today to. maybe they did her the same way. this computer can do crazy things, that's for sure. hope it doesn't happen again. good night.

I do receive some in spam.Then i changed it to no spam and put them in the inbox.I did not know actual cause for that.I suppose sometime it does happen.Any way my inbox folder is filled with spam from other unknown sites which i converted them to spam and deleted few of those mail messages.

Mine sends all kinds of things to junkmail folder. I wonder what is up.

I hate that when that happens. I usually have to add the sending email to my addy list in order to prevent that.

I don't use Yahoo, I use Hotmail. In the past Hotmail ever deleted Mylot emails. So later I set it as the safe sender and this kind of things won't happen any more. A few days ago I replied to your discussion about whether you will give your books away. No wonder I can't see your comment there:) I love China

Same here. Today I'm receiving spam from myLot, not in my inbox. My Yahoo Messenger is always open. It alerts me whenever I receive mails from myLot. But today I wonder why I haven't receiving any notification from myLot. I thought I just didn't saw when my yahoo messenger alert shows up. So checked my Email and there is no new message in my Inbox but there is new messages in my spam folder so I look at it and it's from myLot. Now I will not be alert, I have to check myself my Email.

It happened to me recently as well but not with mylot! It's actually weird because I have never sent anything from that sender to my spam folder. Good thing yahoo keeps my spam mail longer than overnight. And good thing I looked as well!

I just got online, so I hope I didn't miss anything big. I haven't been using my Mylot email notifications for awhile. Mostly, I use the link for friend discussions or new discussions. Back when I relied on Yahoo to let me know about new discussions they were always putting my Mylot mail into the SPAM folder. Very annoying! Glad you're back!

That's weird. I've had it happen to one or two on occasion but for the most part mine filter to the mylot folder i created. Usually the ones that end up in spam are the you have a new message or alert ones or the someone asked to be your friend. The rest all seem to go to the right place. I've never checked to see if they come from a different ___@mylot.com email or of its just being flaky.

You are not alone! Mine too is going into my spam folder suddenly. It never did this before yesterday. I posted a few disscussions and was bummed when i checked my email and...no responses. So I'm on mylot later and go to the started section and see my posts do indeed have responses. I checked back in my email and there they were in spam. I don't know why it's doing it. I didn't change anything...

Hi, this actually happened to me for the first time this morning and I don't know the reason for this. Otherwise, all my My Lot emails go into my inbox as usual. I hope that this is not going to create a potential problem as I absolutely love My Lot and hope that I can post here for many years to come. Andrew

We don't give much importance to see the spam folder or spam messages.... so that we don't even open the spam folder.... simply we delete them without seeing.... so that most of the mylot messages that are sent to the yahoomail....were deleted... so better use the gmail for mylot messages.....

yahoo is just terrible for their spam folders. I think someone had told me that the way their spam filters work is if one person marks it as spam it gets added to everyone's spam list. Which is why I stopped using yahoo mail. Things I needed were getting marked spam and things that were spam were ending up in my inbox.
