Do I need to upgrade my Windows Xp Service Pack 2 to Service Pack 3?

NO dude...just stick to SP2...the SP3 is a disaster...my friends had SP3 installed on their PC...Its just fails to impress...it also crashes often...then they contact me to repair it since im a computer engineer....now they all changed back to SP2...Its by far the best....So i would strongly suggest u stick to SP2....CHEERS buddy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome emojboy. I would leave well enough alone. I know a few people here in mylot who went from service pack 2 to 3 and regretted it, they said it messed up their computers. I am using XP service pack 2 and I will not download number 3. Good luck.

you needn't always keep up to the newest thing,especially,these softwares,just stick to you SP2 as long as it works well.

Hey i think the service pack 3 is not so efficient as compared to Service pack 2 i have faced many problems while using service pack 3.. even the appearance is some how better than pack 2 but the efficiency is very less....

I would rather suggest to stick to your service pack2 for a while until you see that service pack3 do really works perfectly,have you tried internet explorer8 lately,i think it has lot of bug and it needs to be reprogrammed and you obvoiusly don't want to see that happen with operating system

I just did and so far its working quite fine with me. Just make sure that your OS is validated and geniune else it may crash you OS while installing it. But if your license and everything is clean then it would run smoothly and clean.
