Can the Tampa Rays go all the way?

Everyone loves an underdog and how can you not pull for the Rays? In a world of high budget teams, high dollar salaries and "star" players, the Rays have achieved from within with no fan base to speak of and no high-priced free agents. They are the Cinderellas of the playoffs and on the road to a world series birth. You don't have to be a Yankee hater or a Boston Basher to appreciate what Tampa has done. And if they win the American league title, they will place a stamp on their legitimacy ticket for years to come. If not, nay-sayers will call them a fluke. But for now, who cares?

Yeah, I'd love the Rays to go all the way. They seem to be a really we run franchise, and if they can keep their core group of kids together I can see them being around for a long time to come.

It is looking like it as they are up 3-1 on the Red Sox. I do not wish to say that it is over until further notice. The media is probably going into a frenzy. Hearing about the Rays success actually has been a nice change of pace instead of it being the usual suspects. Being a Cleveland fan, I have to say that I am very impressed with this team.

Woo! Go Rays! :) Though I do feel slightly conflicted about this world series, I'd like to see Jamie Moyer finally win one too...
