You can always make those dump cakes. They sound bad but taste so yummy. You make the cake according to directions. Than dump a bunch of fruit in the center. The cake will bake around it. If you use chocolate cake. You dump cherrie sin teh middle. Thus turning it to a black forest cherry cake. You can use a simple white icing for the frosting. Or if you want to go along a auntum theme. You can do a pumpkin dump cake. Use yellow cake and dump can pumkin in the middle. Yummy...tatse just like pumkpin pie.

Your very welcome. I love dump cakes. You can do anything with them, make them taste like you spent hours and hours making them. But put very little effort in them.

If your looking for a cake that needs icing I can't help you. As much as I excel at cooking, I really suck at baking. I do have a standard cake I do when one is required. Easy as pie - almost no work involved. Dump a can of crushed pineapples into the bottom of the baking dish. Add some cherry or raspberry pie filling over that. Just dump a box of cake mix (don't worry about the instructions on the box - just put the cake mix over the other stuff.) Dallop a bit of butter in each quarter and throw into the over and 350 until it's done. Presto!
