Most of the time I mow. My husband will mow if I ask him, but I am home more and he doesn't really like to do yard work. We have a push mower so it is hard work sometimes. I think if you want to mow you should be able to. It's not that hard especially with a riding mower.

My husband mows the lawn. I would like to sometime, but with the mower that we have it is a bit hard to use and my husband would rather me have a user friendly one. So until we need a new one my husband will continue to be the one that mows the lawn.

My husband is like yours. He doesn't want me to mow the lawn. I have told him that I could do it, but he always says no. He has a certain way he wants it mowed. I wouldn't mind mowing it when it is nice outside to catch some rays.

At one time or the other in our 53 years of marriage, each of us has had the job of mowing the lawn. My husband has had the job most frequently. After our lives settled down and both of us were here all the time, he mowed the yard and I took care of the flower beds and/or vegetable garden. For the last couple of years, a lawn service has mowed and trimmed. I still take care of the flower beds and the vegetable garden. I will be 74 in a few days, and my husband is 6 1/2 years older.

My husband usually mows the lawn. I also have two sons and they are all in competition over it so I don't even go there. I work in my flower garden and leave it to them to battle out. On rare occasions I have mowed it and actually enjoy it but maybe that secret is better left unsaid! LOL
