I am reading Paolo Coehlo's book called "The Witch of Portobello". I have been reading it little by little for the past four weeks. Sometimes it is a bit deep and makes me go back to read earlier pages. What book are you reading at the moment?

I just finished The Man Who Never Missed by Steve Perry, a science fiction book. Very good book about a freedom fighter who was once a soldier and had an epiphany, fighting singlehandedly the Confederation that has taken over the galaxy and oppressing the people. Before that I read Christ the Lord by Anne Rice. What is your book about? It sounds interesting.

The Silmarillion - The Silmarillion is a collection of J. R. R. Tolkien's mythopoeic works, edited and published posthumously by his son Christopher Tolkien in 1977, with assistance from Guy Gavriel Kay, who later became a noted fantasy writer. The Silmarillion, along with J. R. R. Tolkien's other works, forms a comprehensive, yet incomplete, narrative that describes the universe of Middle-earth within which The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings take place. The History of Middle-earth is a twelve-volume examination of the writing and revisions of The Lord of the Rings and The Silmarillion by looking into J. R. R. Tolkien's rough drafts and by commentary by Christopher Tolkien.
I've started J.R.R. Tolkien's "Silmarillion", but I've been busy these days and haven't really gone into it. I've only read the pronunciation instructions and the name index. I hope I'll have a bit of time this week-end...

Last book I read was a Harry Potter Book called Deathly hollows. I think that was the last in the series and I felt bad because I felt it didn't end right.

I am reading The Beach by Alex Garland, I have read it countless times before but it's a wonderful book that I can escape into, especially in the Winter months when I can envisage myself lying on that Beach in Phuket I think as on the film with Leonardo Di Caprio. One of my favourite films, I don't get much time to read what with being on the internet and other things taking up my time and I am a slow reader but it's still a good book and one that I never get fed up with.

I am currently reading a book called Remote Viewing Secrets by Joseph McMoneagle. It is a subject that has always fascinated me and with a friend we are testing out his theories.

I am currently reading Rediscover Grammar by David Crystal. It's part of the course that I'm doing at College, so it's not as geeky as it sounds, I promise! It's all quite fascinating; thinking about the English Lanaguage and suchlike.

I'm reading Happy Hour is for Amateurs: A Lost Decade in the World's Worst Profession, based on the blog. It's a proof (galley) I got in advance for review. I don't know when the book hits shelves. It's good - really, really funny - but so far, it has said nothing about being a lawyer or the legal system, in general. The guy seems to think he's the legal profession's answer to Hunter Thompson. Still, it's a good read. I wasn't aware of the blog before this, but I'm definitely going to start reading it now! I think the stories will relate better in that form, even though I suggest the book whenever it comes out.

Currently I am reading a book called "Mr. Maybe". So far its not to bad. Its about a woman that is very high maintenance and likes a guy but he isn't in her "class" so she is only "playing" around with him. I'm sure if its like any other typical book they will fall in love and live happly ever after!

I'm reading "Meeting the Challenge" Using Love and Logic to help children develop attention and behavior skills, by Jim Fay. I enjoy this man's Love and Logic theory of parenting. Also, Holes by Louis Sachar. A youth novel. I read and reread youth novels for research.

I'm reading The Ship of Brides by Joio Moyes. It's a fictional account of a real event at the end of World War 2, when hundreds of Australian war brides were transported by ship to England to be reunited with their British husbands. Some of the brides were as young as 16 and all them had met and married their husbands in Australia during breaks from their wartime active service. There were servicemen on board who had been away from their own wives and families for years. The ship was a converted aircraft carrier and the journey took six weeks. The novel explores the impact of this experience on fictional characters, but it is based on archive material and personal accounts from people who actually made this extraordinary journey.

I'm reading 'Careless in Red' by Elizabeth George. It's excellent - and I wish I was able to read it faster - but these days I tend to doze off at night after just a few pages. I used to read books very quickly, but these days it often takes me quite a few weeks, unfortunately. I have quite a pile of books waiting to be read.

Hi ronaldinu I am reading Paolo Coehlo's book called "Like the Flowing River"..it's not actually a novel,it's like sort of his "blog stories" or the people he encountered in his travels.I've read "The Alchemist" long time ago.I was actually thankful to my office mate when we were seated next to each other.Bec.if that didn't happen I will not be reading his book.I've check some of his books and I think all add Paolo Coelho as one of my favorite authors. Have a nice day. pinksBEE
