With so many of us hurting financialy is anyone else feeling Christmas is going to be tough this year.
I'm alone since the death of my partner last year and it'll be my second Christmas on my own and with keeping up with payimg bills and just getting by I donn't seem to have anything left.I gues there's a lot of people now like this.

Oh, I'm so sorry that it's going to be rough for you. But Christmas is still a couple of months away and you never know what's going to happen from now until then.
As for me, Christmas will be a bit hard because I just started grad school so I don't have any extra money lying around. I don't mind not getting presents, but it'd be a bit awkward not being able to give anything back.
I can't spend a lot of time with family this year because of certain scheduling problems, so I'm a bit upset about that. But, please try to remember that Christmas is not about presents or anything like that.

Do not loose heart.
Time never remains same.
hard times will pass.
Financial turmoil is happening almost every 8 years or so for the last couple of years.
I hope you have a happy christmas though times look rough now.

I am wondering about christmas this year also. I have two girls and their birthdays are in September. So i just finished their birthday party and spent around 1200 dollars on all of it and now have to turn around and do Christmas for them and my husband and family. I usually go to work part time around this time of year but things have been so hectic with my daughters field trips and the other one's doctors appointments that I don't know when I will have time to work. I will have to make a decision and game plan this week for it though or I will not be able to do much. You know, it doesn't help that the cost of living is going up on a daily basis with groceries, utilities and gasoline for the cars but the rate of pay is not increasing with it. It is really putting a strain on the working class.
