500th post, now can use copy and paste fucntions! But when to use it?

I think copy and paste is most useful when you want to include a link to a news item or any non-referral link that's relevant to your post. Copy and paste can be used to quote someone's exact words. It is also useful for editing your own post, as you can move sentences or paragraphs around after previewing and before posting. Best of all it prevents me losing a post if my internet connection cuts out. There is nothing more frustrating than writing a long response then getting a 'cannot display page' message. If I have copied it I can reconnect and paste it in again, so I copy everything before I post.

ha ha ha ha ha... that is good news indeed. You are so much more active than me when I first joined mylot! First payout within a month! And reaching the 500 post mark too! Well, the next step will probably be in the $100 dollar club. Well, how you want to use the cut and paste is entirely up to you. I usually use it for copying and pasting my own posting just before and after I load a picture for the discussion. Cos mylot tend to remove all the indentation and paragraphing when you load a picture. So to maintain the structure of my post, I will copy it before I load the picture. And paste it back after the picture is loaded. I am sure you will find more creative ways to use the new functions you just aquired.

congratulations for achieving the 500th post... now that you had reached the important milestone, you can copy and paste... but of course not plagirising other people's work... i think what you can copy is part of the article from the news that you think that is interesting and you want to discuss it here... but of course you still have to cite the source and the authour of the article for copyright purposes... have fun with the copy and paste function here... just make sure not to abuse it... take care and have a nice day...

I have found it comes in handy when I am writing a discussion and need to move sentences around or if I need to quote something from an article on another site that relates to or is subject of the discussion

Hi there! First of, congratulations on reaching your 500th posts! You are doing good I think cause 1 month is a short time for reaching it. I reached my 500th post for about 2 months. Anyways, with regards to your question, the copy and paste is one of the best feature of mylot for me. I use it for safety reasons. There are times that internet connection is disrupted and cut off, so before I submit my post I copy my discussion first so that if ever while submitting my post and the connection is cut off, I can easily reload the page again and just paste my discussion. In that way it saves me the time to rewrite everything again. There are users who make drafts first say in a note pad or MS Word and so they copy and paste their work in mylot. Ciao!

Copy and paste is best for providing links. You have no idea how happy I was when I didn't have to type out the long website addresses when I wanted to use a reference in my post. I will also use cut and paste when I am posting recipes from time to time.

I just hit the 500 mark myself, and I am sooo glad I can use the copy and paste function!! I like to write all my stuff on Microsoft Word first, to make sure there are not spelling mistakes, and also because if something goes wrong, my computer will automatically save it before shutting all the way down. I would also use it when try to share a reference link. Some of those links are long!!

i think u can use copy paste option when u answer a discussion which is similar to the other one before and also u can pick some data from internet n put it here so it may reduce ur work n u can get a good money for ur posts.. Thts the way i think!!i hope i reach 500 soon!!wish me luck!!thx

Congrats to you, I seldom use it. I use it when I have cut my sentence in the below line to paste it in the above line. It happen when I'm look my sentence is unordered. keep post happy myLotting...

Massive congratulations are in order for reaching your 500th post. I'm still working towards mine so can only dream of using copy and paste at the moment. It could prove very useful here one way or another but as yet cannot comment too much about it.

Congratulations! I still have a long ways to go! For me, I would have liked to be able to copy/paste my poetry from my email into a post here. Because it takes 5 seconds to copy/paste versus taking 20+ minutes to friggin' retype the whole thing! GRR! *LOL* But, I wanted everybody to view my poetry right away, so I just went ahead and blistered my fingers retyping instead of waiting for 500 points! *LOL* But, that is just me! :) Congratulations again! :)

oh my god u realyy reach the 500 posts if u did so its great man bcuz if u can copy paste so u dont need to write with ur own finger u just need to copy from any other web and then paste as long as u want and earn like crazy i think its great if u can copy paste i write 8 lines in every post and per day i write 10 posts but my total day earing is only 25 iam little disapointed but i will do my best and try to reached 500 posts and then just copy and paste if i have ability to copy paste i will write almost 30 posts every day but best wishes for u can u tell me is this copy paste ability is for copy from any web and then paste it if yes so please message me .
