i have just read the link and it is indeed very alarming. in our house, we buy bottled water for drinking consumption coz we don't trust the source of our tap water. it is for this reason that this story is doubly disturbing coz people are always looking for a healthier way of living, avoiding what could cause them harm, lured by the concept that bottled water is pure and uncontaminated, but is actually what would lead them to possible detriment of their health. i was wondering where i could get our bottled water tested. there are so many brands here and i don't think the BFAD is imposing stricter rules and if there are, they are not implementing it the right way coz i've heard many substandard bottled water companies operating in our country.

It seems like it really doesn't matter what water we drink. It is basically all pretty much the same, unless you have alot of iron in the water.

I would like to know the truth to this as well, I read things in papers and such that their is danderous chemicals in plastic but i saw a doctor on TV this week saying all of that is rubbish, but because it is such a serious matter i would like to know the facts, mind you I don't place much confidence in plastic always prefering glass when possible..

I have also heard that a lot of the bottled water comes from the faucet. I feel if there are chemicals coming out of our faucets there are also chemicals in our bottled water. It seems like no days there is something wrong with just about everything we eat and drink.
