Not being mean or anything, but my first thoughts when I think of China(besides the awesome food) is the lead and chemicals. Carelessness, recklessness. I'm actually very cautious with chinese products now as I have small children and have had to throw away some toys. I had a friend that owned alot of things from the recall lists and had to get rid of the majority of her toy collection. It's very sad that in order to cut costs and corners they compromise public safety. But I buy purses from there like, coach and chanel and I love them. I just don't let my kids touch them...

hello there YONGNIAN1987,
China...hmmmmm...when I hear the word china the first thing that comes to my mind is noodles..Yummy! i really love Chinese foods. In fact when I was a kid I dont really want to eat other foods except Chinese foods even though Im not a Chinese.
anyway, to answer your question...i guess the main problem is that people usually fall in to stereotyping. Usually people judge someone by what they hear and what they mostly see and keep on generalizing everyone of the kind to what they had observe and I guess thats wrong. people should just stop stereotyping especially towards asians...hope i answered your question correctly

China, well, the people are all over the place like Koreans. I think they have advanced at such a fast pace but now they are seeing the loopholes with all that they have been doing. First the lead in toys, then the melamine stuff. They should really stand back and look at everything from a different perspective. They might come crashing down as fast as they went up.

I know I like Chinese dramas. ^_^ Me and my mom would watch a serie every week. I think that Chinese people are just like any other humans on the planet. I believe that all countries have a beautiful side and a dark one. The problem might be the media..well I am not sure to say if it's the media or not. We hear alot of things in the news when it concerns, politic with Tibet, the problem with the toothpastee if i am correct, the dairy products and i don't know if there are others. I think this tarnishes the reputation. But people should not be so strict and be more tolerant. Of course, the milk had chemicals and there were a few bad people but we should not generalize the entire country as one. I think it's unfair.

I don't think I really know about China, though I'm a Chinese.I want to know more about China.I don't know why the people's diathesis is low. They don't know how to instruct their children. They love their children but overlook their comity. As the bad children grow up,they are becoming selfish, they steal, rude, fight and make the society unpeaceful. That is to say,I want the government think ways to resolve these problem. The officials are corruptionful. They should be eradiated.

i think what you said is just a phenomenon in China, that's not what we China really is ,we have our culture ,we should love it.our country is now put all of the effort to improve it's economy.we have many things to solve.when we recognize it ,we will solve it!

I am a chinese. I reached US one month ago.
Chinese is hardworking and thrifty, but the government of China is the biggest obstacle.
Most of "Made in China" are bloody. The people who come from village have to work a long time more than legal. But most of them earned less than $200 per month.
So,it's the reason why "Made in China" is so cheap.
My english is poor

Though I am Chinese, I don't know China very well.
It's very large, has many places of interest, like great wall. And yes,the food here is very delicious, and attractive as well. Cooks are not only focus on the taste, the appearance is important, too.
If you get the chance to visit China, take it. You will never regret!~
