Does Birth Order Affect Your Life.

I am the oldest son of three younger sisters. I am a super achiever, and a take charge person. The ball usually falls in my lap. In business, I am usually the leader, although I am now in my own business. I believe anything is possible , and I am not afraid to take risks because I believe in my ability to succeed. Does being the oldest cause this?

I am the eldest too, but I see that as an issue. My theory is that if you are provided with enough love while growing up then it really does not matter if you are the eldest, middle kid or youngest. :D

If you ask me? No, not really. If you happen to be a middle child and the same success that you got now, would you ask does your birth order is the cause of this? I think it is your determination and guts to success. Your potential to make yourself better or a good leader is what makes you, not your birth order. You are what you are and it's not about birth order.

yes i think it does but i also think it doesnt :) confused ? me too :) you can see the logic behind it that you are used to taking charge and sorting things out as the eldest sibling. but i am second eldest .. and my sister always loos to me for help .. she knew when growing up if she has problem with a bf i would make sure he does not hurt her .. so is it eldest thing or a man thing ? I have also known families where the woman is eldest and she sorts things out .. i don't think it is naturally the reason but i can understand it helps. I think it is just who you are and how you want to live. protector or the protected .. your choice.

partly yes as being the oldest...you are more mature and more responsible but i believe that it still have nothing to do with it. kinda confusing but i just feel like if you're really determined, hardworking, focused then no matter if you're the eldest, middle, or youngest...then you'll succeed
