Well, we just got our daughter a Nintindo DS Lite for her birthday last month and we all play it all the time. We love it. I think my hubby would prefer the PSP though. I think the graphics are better on the PSP and you should look at the game selection for both before deciding. For my 6yo, the DS games were better but my husband is drawn more toward the PSP games. Also, if you will want to rent games, I think you would have a better time renting PSP games, more likely to make them for rental then the DS. Overall, I think the DS may be better for kids and the PSP for adults, I plan on getting another DS for our family and my hubby a PSP for a holiday.

I agree, hardcore gamers/mature games come from PSP. But if you want innovation and interactivity DS would be the best fit for you. There is a new PSP that will be released in the market this year. Model is PSP3000. Not much, from it's predecessor PSP 2000, the only major difference between the two is that the new PSP has a built in mic as well as screen improved. Just in time for the holidays.

Well, i think PSP is much better. Aside from the graphics are more advance than nintendo there are various games i can download from the internet. All i need to have is an 8gig memory stick for my psp lite. I believe there are no nintendo games downloadable for free. In addition, PSP has wifi feature which you can connect with internet through wifi unlike nintendo which has game function only.

I prefer the nintendo ds lite. I do like to play mario games. I do like the idea that it can play gameboy advance games.

The PSP is the better deal you will be able to do alot more with it you can go online with it and when the PSP 3000 comes out it will have a microphone built in which means you will be able to easly uses its skype internet phone service and if you have a PS3 then you can use the PSP to play your PS3 games any where in the world at least that is what I have heard. The main thing is the PSP has alot more games and also will be getting even more abilities as sony is really trying to make the Playstation brand as big as possible they are trying to make the PS3 and PSP so compatible with each other it isn't even funny but I am a big sony fan

For me, it's PSP because PSPs have better graphics and I've always loved Playstation games. It's worth your money because you can also play your favorite PS1 game on your PSP just by having custom firmware, memory stick and popsloader. I have PS2 games on my PSP and it rocks! I can play those games that I've been longing to play for a very long time. But I can't deny that Nintendo DS Lite is very good too. My sister has it and I borrow it from her from time to time just to play Big Bang Mini and Rhythm Heaven. Happy myLotting!

If its just about the capability of each hand held, Sony's PSP boasts on its multi-media capabilities. Being able to play audio and video files, display images, browse the net and all that.. However, when it comes to gaming, Nintendo's DS has an advantage on innovative gaming with its touch screen feature that most games for the unit utilize compared to the PSP's usual gaming experience..

I would like to have them both. Nintendo Ds because of their huge and good list of games and PSP bacause of Crisis Core. (I don't know if that's a good game but it's part of Final Fantasy 7. So i want to see it, at least...)
