I am going to be leaving to go to my son's parent teacher night in a few minutes. I ran into his teacher the other day at the gas station and we chatted about him, so this visit is really not needed. Oh, well. We are going anyway. Do you look forward to parent teacher night or dread it? Do your kids normally get good reviews?

When I was a kid I hated parent/teacher conferences. I wasn't a kid that ever got into trouble, but I didn't want to take any chances. My parents didn't like going either I think! I know my dad especially didn't. It is hard for him to sit still. And with so many kids in a class, it was a little disorganized. Later in a different school, appointments were handled better.

By the way, if I hadn't seen this discussion in the category of discussions with no responses, I wouldn't have known about it. I can't believe they still aren't sending me your notifications! To my knowledge you are the only one whose discussions I don't get...

You are not the only one. I have had several people tell me they do not get mine. One friend asked me to message her with the link every time I start a discussion.

I don't know. My daughter does very well with her school and home work. But our very first Parent teacher conference isn't until October 21st. We scheduled it for 6:20 pm. That is so my hubby can attend too.

Funny that i have just attended parent teacher evening for two of my children today. And they both got great reports i am so proud of them. The P.E department said that my daughter was one of the best athletes they have seen. Her french teacher said that she is great at speaking French. And my sons maths teacher recommended that he takes maths at university as he is more than capable of it. I have never had a bad report for any of my four eldest children yet. I am hoping that my two year old will follow suit but he is very different from his brothers and sister. So things could be very different with him.

Well, my daughter just started kindergarten this year so this will be our first time to expierence parent teacher conferance. I'm actually really excited about going, as I try to take a very active role in my daughters education. I only hope they have good things to say about her. Good luck!!!
