How to be a good comic writer?

To be honest, I'm interested to learn how to be a good comic writer. But I must admit that my English vocabulary is not as good as I'm hoping it would be. I do have some ideas, but I cannot express myself well. I'm currently reading more fictional books in order to improve myself, and also learning how to draw properly so that I can convert the story into a comic by myself (I got not enough money to engage the artists).
Any advice for a newbie like me? :D

If your just worried about your English vocabulary, you can just watch a few good English films as well along with reading those fictional books that you like.
When you have a good story in mind, you might want to do a script for the characters.. with textual ideas, you can assess if their dialogues have good English vocabulary or needs more tweaking.
I really like to be able to make a good enough comic that I can show to others. So far, I only have good ideas for stories.. (^_^")

As a matter of fact, I don't really read fictional books ever since I graduated. I focus more on non-fictional aka motivational and business books. :D Maybe that's why it's a bit difficult for me to present my ideas out in written format. Hahahha.
I do have a good comic story which won an award last year, but I cannot draw that well yet. My drawing skill is very rusty =_=

Wow, so you are now just trying to polish your artistry or something with your drawing skills..
I guess you just have to keep on drawing, even on your free time and you suddenly get the motivation to draw, just draw (^_^ ) that's what I often hear when I ask others who also draw on how they enhance themselves in their skills in drawing.

A newbie,the term is apt description.A comic writer must be imagination and at the same time there is a very good painting skills.If you need to improve writing skills,then you must do every day of practice.A very famous writer once said:"I want to force myself into a writer."So he had to keep writing every day,five years after he really become a well-known writer.The successful completion of a major event in both time and the need to adhere to.
