There are products which might not be as good as the way they should and these could be indicated in the labels. To feel certain that what you buy in a store, especially if you are buying a product for the first time, it would be a good idea to read the things written in the labels and look for some signs for government agency approvals or certificates or stickers so that you can be sure that what you are buying is good one. Do you have that habit of reading the labels of what you are buying?

Yes buddy. I always check the labels before buying. I always check for ISI and then the date of manufacturing and its expiry date. It is good that people check the labels. Because taking products that have expired their usage time would cause serious health problems. So i would suggest all to give a few minutes to check the labels before buying anything. You've started a good disscussion buddy. I've given a plus !

I make it a point to read the labels on products that I buy. Just to be on the safe side.
When my sister was pregnant and the ob-gyne prescribed a medicine for something she was complaining about (that was a few years back and even my sister doesnt recall either!). We couldn't stop by the trusted pharmacy, we were forced to buy at this little pharmacy. And when we got home, I read the label and there was a special warning that it wasn't meant to be taken by pregnant moms. Fortunately, my sister haven't taken it yet.
It turns out the "pharmacist" misread the medicine prescribed. She said that she will exchange the product. My sister opted to refund the purchase.

Yes I used to read the labels. I also read the manufacturing date, expiry date and price of the same. If it is a new product (means I never heard about the same) I will check the ISI marks or the signs of approval. If you are buying products regularly from a particular shop then they will ready to share the quality of the new product. They even tell to us if the quality is bad. For that you have to buy products from a particular shop on regular basis so that you can establish a healthy contact with them and they will also ready to take care about the customer satisfaction.

The only problem with reading labels is that it would take you longer in the grocery. But that's alright as long as you wont have problems with the products you are buying and you can sleep soundly at night knowing that what you bought are really safe.

Yes I do look for labels. I read everything there is to read about the product. Where it is made, nutritional facts, company etc. It's just disappointing that there are products that do not post important information on their labels maybe to save on printing.

One reason why they don't indicate everything in the label aside from saving for printing cost is that they don't really have a good product.

I always read labels and I have made it a point to know what the words used to list ingredients mean. High fructose corn syrup, just as an example, is a type of sweetener, as a diabetic I know I can't have that.
I don't give much weight to government approvals or inspections, nothing government run seems to work well why would I trust them to inspect my food?

Hehehe you don't trust the government, eh? Anyway, my point is we should be really very careful with what we buy by reading the labels of the goods we are buying whether government-certified or otherwise.

I didn't have this habit for a long time, but now I have realised that I must be sure of what I put inside my body, so if its something for consumption, I must see what the ingredients say and how much calories and fat it contains. I also see what the nutritious benefits are and sometimes I have to compare between two brands to choose the best. There are a lot of unhealthy things in the market these days that are being marketed as 'healthy' and unless we take the time to see what's in the box, I think we are putting our families health at risk.

That is a good point it is always a good idea to check the labels of products before purchasing them, especially if it is the first time you have ever purchased that product,so that way you make sure it is a good product that you are going to be happy with,I am not sure if I read the labels on products, but I have done it before in the past, and I think my mom will sometimes look at labels when she is doing her shopping especially since she tries to find cheaper products since foods and stuff are getting so expensive.

When having my grocery,I usually read product labels for nutritional facts, the description of the product and the benefits it has to offer to the consumer. I also check the expiration date if there is to make it sure they are fresh on the shelves.

Yes, it is always good to read the labels on everything you buy because sometimes things can go wrong. When you go shopping make sure you read all labels and also when you go in a music store make sure you read the label to make sure you are buying the right cd.

I always read the labels, and I have a book that is type of dictionary that tells you what those ingredients are that you can only guess at. I do it for food, makeup, everything. You'd be surprised at the things the producers get away with putting in the things that go in and on our bodies.

Yes. I always read labels before i buy the stuff especially the expiration date if has and authenticity of the label. For food it's a must as it might cause food poisoning if you bought and use expired one. For other stuff, it might cause defect on your project if the actual product you bought is not suitable with your project. It cause waste of money and time. It is recommendable to be knowledgeable on the product you buy and all the data on the label were authentic

Yes I read the labels on everything very carefully as I do not trust anyone. I take the freshness of food very carefully and the health of my family. It is hard for me to read the labels as they tend to use very small print and even with my glasses I have trouble reading the fine print but I am very careful.

It is my habit to read the labels of whatever product I am buying be it food, soap, lotions etc. If it is food, I would look for the expiration date and nutritional contents. I am not very particular with the nutritional contents but I don't want to buy products that will expire in a week. As for the lotions, soaps, detergents and others, I just like to see on what chemicals they are made of. I am allergic in few things that's why I am picky with the things I am using on my body.
I think reading labels on products we are buying is a good practice because they are written there for us to know and be warned for some things that may harm us.
