I registered with them not long ago and had written quite a few reviews. I went to sign in today to write some more and it tells me that I am invalid. I entered my username correctly and my password correctly. I even put in my email address so that they can re-send my password just in case and it tells me that my email isn't even registered!
I am very dissapointed because of the time I took to write my reviews and I never even gotten paid for them. Does anyone have any ideas? I even tried my activation email that I got from them because I kept it and that didn't even work. I am pretty upset by this.

No I didn't violate any rules. I write my own reviews. I am actually an advisor on another review site and I have been writing reviews for a long time now. I stopped writing at the other one and went to Ciao. I never even wrote a review for Ciao that I have on the other site. I have no idea. Most of my reviews were very helpful with a few helpful.

I'm not a member of Ciao, sorry I can't help you but I hope you can help me.
Can Australians join?
And when I go on the website it says about surveys, nothing about reviews.

I don't see why not but I am not sure. From what I have been reading there is at least 2 different ones. I have only been a member about a week so there is still some things I don't know. I got an email about updating my profile for surveys but all I ever see on the site is people writing reviews. I have wrtten reviews but never saw a survey. Maybe someone else on MyLot can help since I still don't know about who can join and what site to go to.
It's worth trying to figure out from what everyone has said. After my problem was fixed, I saw that it is a good site. Good luck and maybe I'll see you on there!

Maybe you accidentally signed into the wrong Ciao site. i see they have several in several differnt countries. it may be that you accidentlaly signed into a site that you did not sign into the first time. I would check it out and see if that is the problem.

i think that you have go through the terms to know whether your account still exists or not because there are a few sites which deletes the account after certain time of inactivation and also might have happened that you have got confused about your username and password if you use more than one for each site you register. so have a look and try and if not i think you will be able to re-register it provided your account doent exists.

I did send an email to them but I am still waiting on a reply. No rules broken here. It was like I never existed on that site. The only thing that I could think of was that maybe it was because my paypal email is different than the email that I registered with but that doesn't make any sense.

I did send them an email after I tried the password thing to make sure I wasn't entering the wrong password causing the problem. I sent them an email and they thought that I deleted my account so somehow I hit the delete account button and didn't realize it. It's been figured out. Unfortunately I still lost what I had on there but at least it wasn't much. Once an acount is deleted, it can't be restored so I had to re-register.

There may be two possibilities - either some guidelines were violated or they deleted your account without any reason. Just try contacting them. Atleast they should specify the reason for such an action. Wish you good luck with the site. Have a nice day and happy mylotting :)

Might be worth contacting the site admin if you don't think you violated any guidelines
