Online Games...Are there any good FREE MMORPG Games?

I always find it amusing how these online games call a game free then want you to pay them money. I find it amusing how they can go about on their tags to make google show them and then you wait five minutes for the main page to load up and just to find out you have to either download a five gigabyte game or you actually do have to pay for it. What I want to know is if there are any actual free fun MMORPG ( mass multi only role playing games) out there on the internet? I know of one and that is runescape, I love the game but for the best stuff you have to be a member of course to do anything. So what do you think?

We (my family)used to play Dominion, till we got banned a couple years back (10 people using the same computer to play the same game seemed like cheaters to the server, they banned the computer). Now we have more computers so we play darkorbit. It's fun to play especially with a bunch of your family and friends in the same clan fighting for dominince in space.

wow 10 people playing on one game that is awesome, but I guess I can see where they would think that is unfair. I knew this married couple who got banned from Runescape fro sharing an account. I mean how can they say that is cheating, when in reality that is like " unity of one" already anyway. thanks for the response.

I am not sure when this free online game will be available, but it call crime craft. It's was ranking number 1 in top ten free online mmorpg by pc gamers.

I play RuneScape too, its free to play version still AWESOME! I have not tryed another one yet.

really? could i have your username? always looking for new friends on there. but yea i love the game i am kinda possessed by it if you know what i mean. I eepecially can't get away from fist of guthix. My username is same username as on here.

yea, there are many free mmorpgs out there.
I used to also play rumescape, which was an awesomegame for a while, until they ruined it.
I went on to play world of Warcraft, which does cost about $15 a month, but it well worth it.
Then on the side I played a couple free mmorpgs. Some of they were flyff (fly for fun), or one of the more popular ones was silkroad. Which both of them are completely free to play.

yeah i like silkroad alot, i used to play it all the time besides runescape but it just got boring after constant play.

i play darkorbit too. you can see it by my name tho. anyway, i recomend darkorbit but in fact for newcomers its kinda very difficult. There is also a option where you buy game currency with real money.
