Are You Getting A Flu Shot?

Will you be getting a flu shot this year? I did get one last week. The pharmacy that I use was giving them out, and with my insurance they were free to me, so I got it. I am so afraid of getting the flu.I got the flu shot last year, but still I got the flu, I was sick for over a month. But they said they flu shots did not work last year.Flu season is right around the corner.

Thats wonderful that so many workplaces re giving their employees the shots free noe days.Sorry you get sick after getting one, though, yes drink lots of water and take the extra vit- c as you said. Good luck

yes, i have gotten a flu shot for the last several years and intend on getting one this year too. i have not heard much about flu shots around here yet (maybe because last week we had a federal election) but currently, i have a cold, but when its over, i will get one.

Well you surly can not get one with that cold right now. Glad that ou will be getting one shortly though.

I have never gotten a flu shot and I haven't had a bad case of the flu in years. I'm not getting one this year ether. I hate needles and deal enough with them for other things. I don't want to put any more into my system than I have to.

Well I have had several bad cases of the flu so that is why I do gt the shot, I try not to get it again. I hope you never get it, it is rough.needles don't bother me, I have to get stuck all the time.

I got that awful flu last Winter, it lasted for a little over 3 weeks, I ended up losing my job over it (long story). I had the fever and nausea almost daily, I was very non-functioning.
But I can not get the flu shot because I am allergic to eggs and it is cultivated in eggs.

So sorry you can not get the flu shot, sounds like you really need one!! I was like you last winter, I had it for over a month too. They should not have left you go from your job because of that,When you are sick, you are sick. well it is their loss!!God Bless

We get free flue shots at my work, but i never get one.
I don't like needles and a lot of people that get them get sick anyways.

Well, it is good your place of employment does offer free shots. Hope you do not get sick.
