Do You Go Back To Check For The Responses Every Time You Initiate a Discussion ?

Every time after initiating the discussion , I am really curious to see if I got any immidiate responses or not! So immidiately after initiating a discussion I go to my started section to see how many responses I had for my discussion. I feel happy to get any responses from the people and I carefully read them and note the contents! Some responses are really good and are sincerely attempted, I always like this types of responses! Some times I am left to wonder to see some of my old topics are getting too many responses and the new ones are never responded for few hours ! Yes I do have a few of topics where I never got any response at all ! So what do you do immidiately after posting a discussion? Do you check for response like me or you have lot of patience to sait for some time while doing something on this forum! Please respond! Thanks!

I usually don't check it immediately but only after i start getting notifications in my mail box. And it is not the number of responses that i am checkin for , but the content of the responses and who is responding. There are times that i do not check it the same day and do so the next day.

I don't. When I start a discussion, I leave it as is for a few days. I rarely post comments because I don't go back but there are times when I have nothing good to do here on mylot that I just have to post comments already/ I don't expect others to comment on my replies as well. After posting a discussion, I just post replies to other discussions!It's more productive.

whenever i post a discussion i keep my gmail account open so tht i can knw when the other mylotters are responding the discussions....when someone respond then i go back to tht discussion and post a comment or just look the responses given by them!!
I have this habbit from the beginning n i think thts the best way to go here in mylot!!!

Sometime it is not necessary for me to respond to all discussion I have started, i do read all but either rate them or give a response. It is just good to read all your responses to get what people feel and think about your topic. Sometimes you get it tiresome actually to respond let's say even 10 responses for three discussion you've started

I don't do that, instead, I wait for notification on my inbox. Then I check it out. It's easier that way. Cheers!!

i always have a notification in my email every time someone respond to my discussions or in the response i made. and every time there's a response in my discussion i always go back to them and make a reply to let them know that i appreciate it so much that they drop by and make a sincere response. it's always nice to see that your discussion/s had response/s in it so i return the gesture.

Hi Akrao! Whenever I start a new discussion I tend to check it from time to time, but sometimes, I just respond to others discussions for couple of minutes and then come back and check it again! And it feels great whenever I see some few responses. Thanks!

I love to see the responses and normally read all of them, but sometimes I do nto get time to read al of them. i try ot respond to most of them too so that i can reach out to the people who comment.

ofcourse whenever you write some discussion you are always very curious to check its response.i have not been a kind of person who get into some other persons discussion and reply i am a person who loves to start a new discussion and see what kind of responses do u get from everyone and share their views.thanxx happy milotting

I did the same thing with you rushing to go back if I have responded by my friends lotters like you. I"m so excited every time I read those comments and discussions. There were times that I laughed upon reading the comments. And the most out of it is i read those feelings inside the comments, the true feelings regarding those matter we were discuss. I got some inspiration coming from them especially if I feel down. Because in here I put my emotions I can write what I feel. Trated like friend. Even I"m alone seems like I have companions around.

ofcourse i do. i usually start discussions on a topic that buffles me. some of the answer are indeed helpful and are straight forward. some are long and very descriptive. but i really appreciate each one of it. i just hope that people will do the same for my responses. i don't want my opinion or point of view to be ignored or something. you don't want that as well, right?

Generally yes I do check my discussions that I start. Some are for article ideas and I am looking for either feedback or I am looking for inspiration for the articles. Others are about what is going on in life and others are just about what is going on in my life....so of course I want immediate feedback too.

Yes, I do, I want to know what people say - if they say something - and answer their discussions. I don't want to leave unanswered comments. I just say my honest opinion regarding that comment, and this is it. All the people interested in my topic deserve this. All the people that just drop in and say something without reading what's all about, also deserve an answer. It won't be a pleasant one, but they will get my opinion. More, this is they way you can make better money here, I think.

I do not have to. I am notified, via email, if someone replies. That makes life easier than going to check to see if anyone replied.

Well, I don't go on here to check for them. I always get an email when there's a new response to one of my discussions....but I do check my email often for them he he.

I do go back and check to see if and how many responses I get to the discussions I start, I don't get a chance to comment on all the responses, and I hope the responders understand, I work during the week and I am at a lost for time. I will start a discussion and I am off to work. I do appreciate them for taking the time to respond. And when I am on I do try to return the favor and respond to as many as possible and ones that is of interest to me.
