I was using a syringe spoon to give my son his medicine and suddenly it squirted upwards instead of into his mouth all over my hair and it is all gooey and sticky, yuk. Other than washing my hair as daily routine I have never had anything stuck in it like this to have to go wash so please share what the messiest gunge you have accidentally got on your hair?

I read through some of your responses, but didn't see this one. It might be here, but you've had SO many responses! Wow! Congrats!
Anyway, when my son was about a year old, he was sick with the flu. VERY sick. He was sick all over his crib so, as I was picking him up to put him down on the floor to change his sheets, he vomited all over my hair!
Ewwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't wait to get to the bathroom to wash that out!!! THAT'S some pretty nasty stuff!!!

OMG, Mentalward. I've had this happen and forgot all about it with all of the other things that have happened to my hair. lol. I have 3 children and 10 grandchildren, not to mention all of the other babies I've come into contact with. This has to be the worst.

Hi Mentalward, I would have been sick also, although a mother myself anything other than little tiny baby sick and I throw up myself, that must have been so vile. Yuk. I had a fair few responses and then it made it into the digest and I think that always gives a discussion a fair amount of coverage, it is amazing reading just some of the things people have in fact had on their hair and the remedies for washing off.
Hi Moondancer, you had a fair mixture of things on your hair without the baby one LOL
Huggles to you both. Ellie :D

Hi Dawgwath, Well if bubblegum ever happens to get out without cutting out use egg white or kerosone, see preious response as they have had that happen, how gross. Someone spat at you and on your hair, I would have decked them which it sounds like you did. I would have also thrown up on him too and spit and stuff like that makes me retch so he would have had to wash his hair too LOL. Ellie :D

I've had sugary stuff in my hair before Ellie. Yuk. But the worst in fact was many years ago when I took a girl to the cinema. She was chewing gum (which I hate) and when I suggested that she got rid of it she did (how pompous of me). All over my arm!!! I had to shave my arm to get it off and no, we didn't go out together again. Funnily enough she is now quite prim and proper. We still get Christmas cards from her and her husband.

Hi P1kef1sh, hair all clean again, what a horrible thing to do with chewing gum, that is why I hate the stuff too as the people don't seem to be responsible when discarding it often do they. Shave your arm, no I can imagine you didn't date her again after that eh! Huggles. Ellie :D

Hi Tessa, Oh I am sure you could have written it here but we may have upset some people, LOL. Not had that one in the hair or eyes yet thankfully but I think I would rather that that puke all over my head, yuk what a way to wake up. I would have been sick right along with her. Huggles. Ellie :D

I was entering Valletta city gate when I felt a pigeon poo once on my hair. I think it's more yucky than your son's medicine. To make matters worse I was meeting my girlfriend. As we did not visit each other's house she was so kind to bring a facecloth and a towel and a bottle of water with soap to wash my hair. © ronaldinu 2008

Tomato sauce, when it was just those glass bottle things. I did not put the lid on properly the last time that I used it, took it out of the cupboard and shook it! It went everywhere, do you know that it is so hard to clean up.

Hi Ellie, The messiest thing that has happened to my hair was having a pigeon poop while doing a fly over. Thank god I was at home in my back yard, It would've been alot worst if I was somewhere else. As it was I had to excuse myself from my company and go wash my hair right away. How embarrassing!
Huggles, Tianna

Ew, that's not nice ellie!! the worst thing by far i have ever had in my hair was chewing gum! i don't know how it got there, i was about 13 and i got home from school and it was in the back of the hair, i think some evil little child must have stuck it there!! my mum tried for hours to comb it out, wash it out, everything but in the end she had to cut it out, it was awful!! fortunately it wasn't in a really obvious place!! hope your hair got unstickied!!! lol xxx

Chewin' gum... and a few lollipops, yes... My sister was a very naughty girl when she was younger and she use to enjoy sticking things in my hair. My mom always said "She's little, its not her fault, she thinks its a game", well, I only wished I wasnt her favorite toy!
And vomit, yuk... I ate a hot dog and my body didnt handle it well, so I just runned to the bathroom. But before I even had the chance to pull back my hair, it was too late and a disaster
Happy MyLotting and have a nice day!

A bubble gum!
That's the worst thing you would want to get stuck on your hair...
You know like its very difficult to remove, its messy and you have bear with the fact that it is full of saliva. Yucky!
thankfulness I had it removed immediately. Well, I used kerosene to release it from my hair strands. And that's double mess. Wahhh!
They say, egg white is the best solution to bubble gum in the hair.

Hi Calyxus, A big warm welcome to myLot, keep posting, keep responding and most importantly have FUN with it yeah! Bubblegum yuk, I should imagine that is very difficult to get out, I will remeber egg white in case it ever happens as some people are so inconsiderate where they leave it eh! Egg white beat kerosene anyday. Thank you so much for sharing. Ellie :D

Hello ellie333,
The worst thing that got into my hair is paint. We were painting our fence last year and my hair got some drop of blue paint. It is messy because you need to use a thinner to removed the paint and the thinner smells like a kerosene.
It will take a lot of soaping and shampooing to remove the smell and the paint. The best to do when painting is to wear a hat to lessen paint dropping on your hairs.
Regards.

The worst hair experience I had was a nasty knot at the nape of my neck when I was in grade school. My hair was really long back then, and the knot actually had to be cut out. But that's not really what you're asking.
The worst thing I've dealt with in hair was maple tree sap in one of my son's hair. That stuff does NOT want to come out easily. It was only a drop or two on his head, and his hair was so short at the time, that we opted to not cut it out. But it took a few weeks of regular washing and combing to finally get it out of his hair.

Hi Canadagirl, Oh my younger daughters hair used to matt something awful so I know what you mean about a knot having to be cut out, her hair was beautiful for about a minute after brushing and then it didn't look like it had been brushed for a week, luckily it is now straight and gorgeous and none matty now. Really, maple tree sap? but I guess it is sticky like the syrup so yes I should imagine it was very difficult to wash out. I managed to get the medicine out quite easily thank goodness. Huggles. Ellie :D

Hello elie333
I think the worst thing I have ever had in my hair would have to be bird poo and lots of it. No guesses as to how it got there!! I'm not even going to mention the baby vomit as I think a lot of us have been there!

Bird droppings.
I was sitting under a tree once, and I saw something fall on my shoulder and I looked and it was bird dropping. And one of my friends told me it was in my hair too.
So I had to go home and wash the(bowel movement) out of my hair.

Hi Grace, Green hair, the guy below got bue paint in his you would have made a very colourful pair, I do know where you are coming from on this though, my hair went purple when I tried to dye it black but I was okay with the colour. I take it your hair isn't green anymore so what did you have to do to get it back to normal. Ellie :D
