WOW, you must know a lot of triva stuff. The sports usually kills me, but some of the other stuff is a guessing game for me too.

I had a professor once that told us we had to try to get rid of those "useless bits of infomration" if we wanted to pass his class. He said we'd need all the brain-space we could get for his information. I don't know how I passed the class and kept the useless stuff, but I guess I did lose some of it because I find it's not there for Trivial Persuit!

I'm sure there will be a badge for it soon, they usually do that with the new games. I'm anxious to see what the badge would be!

I don't think it's like the Daily Word Search though where you can replay a day. I think once you finish a day in Trivial Persuit you can't play it again. For the people that have been keeping up to date on the pies, they'll take a whole week to get the badge. I like to get mine over with as soon as possible!!!

Hi reinydawn. I only just joined up at Pogo and pretty much stick with Bingo, the bowling, jigsaw puzzles...tried my hand at Scrabble and sucked...LOL..Is the Trivial Pursuit a freebie one? I know they have a freebie thing now for paid games until the 20th of this month..will have to give Trivial a shot though..what's your handle there? As you can guess I'm pyewackette there

HAHAHAH it doesn't take long to get "hooked" on many of the games - that's why I had to finally bread down and join for the member fee. Let me know when you need a "guest pass" and I can send you one, ok?
I'm reinydawn just about everywhere!

My friend who is a high school teacher does not know where they get those questions either because her high schools students do not know them either.

The first time I played I didn't realize you got the same answers when you replayed it. Now I pay attention to what comes up if I'm wrong so I can get it right the next time. I've never had to do a game more than 2 times.

To be honest, I have only played it once so far. I should really play it more because I really like trivia games, and used to play Trivial Persuit a lot when the board game first came out.
In fast, once I am finished getting my MyLot fix in for now I will have to go play it a bit.

Well, if you're into the badges, then you'll be playing Trivial Persuit quite a bit because that's one of the badges. It is fun, and it's kinda amazing what you do know. It just seems that when there's one hard question, they're ALL hard!

Yes I have been playing it and I agree it is very hard. Ever so often I get lucky and get my wedge the first try but normally it takes me two times. I am glad you brought this up because it reminds me that I need to get mine for today done. Good luck with yours.

I get about half of them on the first try. Sometimes I only get 400 points for the whole game! There are plenty that I guess at (and get right some times!).

No, I haven't tried that one yet. I did play monoply when they had it for the badge last week. I'm still hooked on scrabble. I have already reached rank 50 on that game. I just like playing that game to wind down my day. I would probably have the same problem playing trivia that you do especially if I am tired, I wouldn't get too many of the answers correct.

This morning was horrible for me. I played twice and each time had to redo the wedge because I got only a few right. Good thing I have a decent short-term memory and can remember the answers :)

Yes, I've been playing Trivial Pursuit and I agree! A lot of these questions I have trouble making out the wording or I'm like uhhhh...time to guess! I've even noticed that some days have themes, like they'll stick to the same subject. I don't know how they do it but they tie all this together and any card you pull will somehow have something to do with that subject of the day.
So glad we have the replay option!

I noticed that too. The first day I did was all sports related, even though they weren't "sports" cards. One day had to do with colleges. I think that helps out a little bit because then your mind only goes in one direction while tring to guess at some of them :)
