For me there is nothing like doing nothing with your loved one in a hammock on a desolate beach and watch the time fly by.

Excuse me for asking, but is "life is jim dandy" some sort of an expression? If so, can you explain me what does it mean? English is not my first language, nor do I live in a country where we speak English around our house. Thank you and excuse me for asking you this.
