is the new series of smallville exciting or what?

I grew up watching superman, smallville and I must say in the beginning I got worried, wondering if the Directors are running out of ideas, now I just can not wait for the next week to come as I love the new twist each week with different villains and while bringing out a true super hero romance.
Just awesome!

Well, I like some aspects of the show, and while it was fine in the beginning, I think it's starting to get kind of ridiculous that he still hasn't figured out how to fly after 8 years. Especially when everyone else who comes along seems to do it quite easily.

I think he'll fly this season. The original executive producers didn't want him to fly, didn't want him to ever wear the suit - they had a whole bunch of "nevers." But they left at the end of last season, which is why this one is so much better than that one!
They've already done a lot of the stuff they should have done years ago: dropped Lana, nixed the whole Chloe romance/crush, killed his dad, gotten rid of Lex and his dad, introduced Lois and the romantic angle with her, etc., etc.
Wait... didn't he fly at the very end of season 6 or 7?

Yes I love smallville ive been watching it since the premiere and its probally my favorite show of all time. I probally watch this show more then any other show. And I love this season and have to rank it at the top so far I never thought this season would be good without lex but its deffintley been teriffic and I hope they do a season 9 and 10 hell I hope they continue forever if seasons are as good as this one lol.

I really wish they hadn't gotten rid of Supergirl! I was looking forward to seeing her develop and the episodes with her learning how to be human and blend-in were the better ones of last season - really, about the only good ones (except for those with the JLA and Green Arrow!).
This season's episode with GA was pretty much frame for frame from last summer's Green Arrow: Year One mini-series and that was the best darned comic of 2007! It was awesome!!! I also really enjoyed last week's episode, where Lois confessed her love for Clark.
All in all, Smallville is finally back on track after floundering for the past couple of seasons.

Yeah I actually love this season of smallvile so far. I wasnt to exited about it when I heard that Michael Roseambum wasnt going to come back as lex luthor. But I love the whole where is he make him still feel like hes here and tess is an awsome villian who I really enjoy watching. And im just waiting for the last part of the seasons since I heard it will be the darkest ever in smallville.

well what season are you on, ive seen all the way to season 6.
i thought the beginning was horrible with all the different villians, but i did like how the directors showed clark's change in character over the episodes. most importantly, i liked the romance between clark and his classmates. most of the first few seasons really established clark's initial character, but in the later seasons i really liked how his character matured
i dont want to give away too much spoilers ;-) just incase u havent seen the newest ones
