I would love to have gas at $2.17 a gallon. I live in Central NY and it is $3.35 here. About an hour away it is a little bit cheaper, but still above the $3 mark.

I would love to see our gas prices drop below $3. I bought gas just yesterday and it was $3.49 and that is with a 5 cent per gallon savings because I used a gas credit card.
I hope that the gas prices continue to go down. I thought that $3.49 was good. I always put $40 in my truck for the week and I was actually almost up to 3/4 full! I haven't seen that in a long time.

I'm at my daughters right now, in Virginia, the cheapest we've seen it was 2.45. The cheapest at home in Central PA is around 2.69, that's what my s/o saw it for this weekend. But I tend to agree, that this is just a break until after elections. Which when you think about it, what does that have to do with it? Of course now that gas has gone down so much, what about all the reasons it was going up in the first place, those issues just went away all of a sudden? I do think we better enjoy the lower prices while we can.

You know, I heard on NPR yesterday that whatever organization controls the production of gas had cut production to try to make prices go back up. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?! It also said that consumption is down for the first time in decades, which was one of the reasons for the falling gas prices. I still think it has something to do with the election though. It seems this happens before lots of elections. Maybe it has something to do with "boosting moral."

I live in Utah and gas here is about $3.37 I think. Id love to see it as low as $2.17 ever again. Gas prices are killing us. We spend as much on gas as we do on our house payment and we cant afford that. I try to not drive unless I really need to but the grocerys dont get to the pantry them selves.

I paid $2.95 yesterday, which was really nice. The gas will go up when it starts to get colder, but hopefully not by that much. It tends to be very high in the summer, so expect it to go way back up around May of next year.

here in the Philippines gas is still high.. it's abotu 50 pesos per liter..about almost a dollar per liter. So it is more expensive I think than in US? how many liters is a gallon? am not sure but that;s what it is here.

Here in Ohio where I am we are paying about $2.55 a gallon and I think you're right about it going up after the election is over.

It's so crazy, but today, I saw it for $1.92/gallon! I filled up a little over a week ago for $2.92 and thought I was getting a bargain!

I live in Ohio and the highest gas got to here was about 2 months ago when it reached $4.29.9 per gallon. Today it is sitting at $2.33.9 per gallon. An unbelievable drop in such a short time. This is really great for so many people that live in my area. Most of my friends travel a long way to work and are really saving some money by the gas prices dropping so drastically. With Christmas just around the corner, it really couldn't have happened at a better time!

Well, I am in Canada but it has gone down a good amount here too!
$0.97 a liter from around $1.30 just around a week ago!
We're happy here but that is always the question, how long will it last!?!?
Our Election is over here so I don't think it had anything to do with that...But then, who knows!
