What do you think about convicts?

I ask this question because I work in Corrections and it amazes me how many people fail to realize just how easy it is to become a convict. Do you think that, for the most part, they are all bad people? Do you feel that they receive the right type of rehabilitation? Do they have adequate access to resources to better themselves? How close have you come to being one?

I am afraid of them. I know the fact that not all convicts committed crimes but I am still afraid of them all. I will still respect them. All humans must be treated equally. I will refrain from getting along with them. It's better to stay away from them. Who knows something might happen to you.

DUI, just like Beecher :P Well if people drink and drive I say lock em up and throw away the key, that is just raw stupidity right there. If they hurt/maim/kill people in the process as well, then I for one have very little remorse. What does bug me however is the OTHER type of law that can get you behind bars: Use and/or posession of MJ ?!? Who exactly is that hurting ?

I dont think that all convicts are bad you have some that went to jail when they were just kids for killing the person that was abusing them. I dont see them as being bad i see them as needing help, but the more time that they spend in prison the more they come to resevt scociety as a whole because they feel as though it has failed them.Yes they have aolt of resources that can help them better themselves in jail if they choose to use them but for the most part most of them dont use them unless if is the law library they use that alot. I have never come close to being one but i know a lot of them and they tell me alot about the things that do on in jail and priosns and that makes them resent authority and anyone who they feel is above them . Not all crimials are bad .
