How many of you can play an instrument? do you wish you could?

I know about 4 chords on a guitar ... can't read music... but I could play Beatle songs lol. I played the clarinet when I was in grade school. I wish I could play the piano... or the bass. Do any of you play instruments? Any uncommon instruments? Any you do as a profession? :)

sitar - I don't hear that often - the most I've heard was when George Harrison experimented with it. That's awesome - musically inclined max!

oh yeah back in the day i was a flower child,JOPLIN,HENDRIX.THE DOORS.******AND OF COURSE WOODSTOCK. HAIR DOWN TO MY BUTT.WOW THINKING BACK IT WAS A PRETTY GOOD TIME.THEN I JOINED THE U.S. MARINES AND PRESTO WIFE,KIDES AND THE PROVERBIAL sp. WHITE PICKET FENCE.

I am still learning how to play guitar, i am not yet good at it. i am planning to learn to play a piano too. I wish i could play it before this year end. 
. The one problem is i dont have time and patience in practising it everyday. And my finger hurts too.

I play the piano and organ. I learned to play an auto harp when I was in middle school and my mom brought hers out.(I have it now) I played bass clarinet in the middle school band, and I learned to play the guitar in high school. I doubt that I can still play the guitar. Mine was stolen not long after I learned to play it, and I haven't picked up one since. But, anytime I am around a piano,organ or key board, I play. And, I played all these things by ear. I could never read music and play at the same time.

I used to play piano, and now i'm attempting to learn guitar. I have an acoustic guitar, but my fingertips aren't used to the strings yet, i'm gonna say it's gona take some time.
I can't really read music either, i used to just pick the songs i like to play, and memorize them, or make "piano tabs" or whatever they're called.
I want to learn guitar, but if my fingers aren't used to the strings by next july i'm giving up on guitar x_x I know giving up isnt good, but i would like to return to the piano, or maybe try playing the drums. Or maybe i'll stick to singing...

its my frustration since i was a kid to learn to play musical instrument, though i can read notes. i havent enrolled in a music school. but as of now, im trying to learn. wish i could be better just like any other musicians, but i really need a lot of patience in learning.

I can play the guitar some and If I had more time instead of working and cleaning, thats what I would have been doing.I have had several electric guitars.

The guitar, piano, and drums. I read notes, coz i started playing the piano when i was 6, and my teacher wanted me to be able to read notes. I taught myself to play the drums when i was 10 and then studied guitar when i was 13. I had a band back in highschool. But the one instrument i really really really wanna learn how to play is the violin. I never got around to learning that.
