DVD decoder and driver?

I don't think so.In my opinion,DVD decoder can let DVD play different kind of files,but DVD driver is not

no mate there not dvd driver- allows you to play dvd roms, like games dvd decoder- allows you to watch movies.

Uhmm..I don't know about a DVD driver(maybe you meant DVD drive), but a DVD decoder is a program that is needed to play a DVD format film over a certain channel, say PC. For example, you can't directly play DVDs from early versions of Windows Media Player, you need to install a DVD decoder to do so. A DVD drive, well that's where you put DVD-formatted media on.
