Do you keep the same music playing for a long time?

Drives everybody nuts, but once I put a CD in the player in the car, it usually stays in there for a long time. Weeks, even months. If I really like it anyway. Do you change your music constantly or can you listen to the same thing over and over and over again if you really love it?

My sister and brother in law hate it when I have the same CD play over and over and over again. See, we have this rule that whoever is driving the car, they get to pick the music. Since my brother in law can't drive the car, and my sister doesn't want to most of the time, that means I get the nomination. It drives them crazy when they see me pulling out the same cd for the 99th time. If I feel like they've had enough, i'll change it. However, I like torturing them sometimes!!

I don't usually listen to cd's because i like to listen to different stuff constantly. Most bands tend to have the same sound for all their songs so i get bored quick. but now i have an ipod which i love because it holds tons of songs and i can set it on shuffle to play all sorts of different songs.

I tend to drive people crazy when I get a new cd. I play it until I have most of the songs memorized.

mostly when i catch a bug for a particular track of song i go all out and play it until i am sopaked in the lyrics i become addicted to it tosuch point that everyone around will definitely feel the flow of that particular song around me ,its funny bt thatis how it is with me.

Yes, I do that most of the time. If I really like the music I would listen to it over and over again everyday until I get tired with it. It has become a habit. These past weeks I've been listening to Barlow Girls' music and I'm loving it. Every morning after I had my breakfast, I would turn on their music while reading a really good book. ;D

I can listen to it over and over because I don't pay that much attention. When my son takes out my CD and puts it on his favorite station I listen to that for a long time until my daughter changes it. But that doesn't last, because I really don't like rap and her station plays a lot of it. That's hard to ignore when you don't like it.

I mean I don't pay attention to changing it because I like it just fine the way it is.

I've been known to that. There are CDs (my player holds up to six) in my car now that I haven't taken out in months. The thing that bugs me is if I want to listen to them outside of the car, I forget to take them out.
It's funny you asked that because just the other day I was thinking I haven't changed out some my Christmas CDs. As much as I love them, I haven't been listening to them, but I never took them out. And I don't see any reason to now since it's almost time to listen to them again. LOL

lol that's kind of like leaving your Christmas lights up and saving yourself the trouble of putting them up next year!

We did that one year. The next year all the colors were faded and they were white lights basically. lol

If the album is my favorite album then i am listening the same songs hundred of times. I never get bored of it. Some albums i like to listen for only once. When i am choosing the album i will select my favorite album an i will go on listening the songs for months.

Actually, I'm listening to the same song over and over and over again for like 3 hours already. I'm kind of not that fond of diversity, I want to hear the same, say 10 songs over and over again, and then removing 7 of them at a later time. If I really like the music, I don't change it for a long period of time. Sometimes I even listened to a Japanese song for about a month straight without playing any other songs, even though I don't understand the lyrics. I'm all about music. Right now I'm listening to a Hip Hop song over and over again, because it keeps me awake and the music makes you pump pump pump...yeah.

Me too although once in a while I overdo it and just can't listen to that song again for a long, long time!

Tired is the word, not sick. I find myself getting tired of that certain song, then I change it to a different one, then get back to it after I crave for that song, then the cycle goes like that.

I can stand the same song on repeat for the after noon :]
but if i don't have earphones on my parents get annoyed by the same song playing over and over again...
that's one of the main reasons i use earphones most of the time, so people can't complain ^___^
happy mylotting!

Hi Dawn,
I sometimes keep playing the same disk or song because I just can't get that tune out of my mind.
It happens.

Oh my Gosh! Yes, I sure do play the same song over and over and over. If there are several I like I play them all but if just one it is played again. The soundtrack to My Best Friends Wedding was one of these. Superwoman by Alicia Keyes. So forth.

I like variety on the radio but I can listen to the same CD over and over again for months. But then it's just to work in the morning and back home in the evening most days. On long trips I switch it.

My music range varies. The only song that I listen to on a regular basis
is "Vultures" by John Mayer. I never get tired of his voice or that song.
Since I have a collection from "way back", I never run into having to do
very many repeat songs.

I repeat repeat repeat until it drives somebody else nuts. Then I change it. Unless it's somebody I don't like. lol
