People admit texting at weddings, funerals and on the toilet. Ok at a wedding might be considered rude. Texting at a funeral is just in poor taste (just my opinion). On the toilet...ummgross. Not very sanitary. I think the worst place to text message is while you are driving. What do you think? Is there a good place to text message people?

Yah.
It is only good to text when you are at home or at school.
It is not good to text when you are at a church of course.
You must respect the church.
Also, people must refrain from texting on the streets since there are a lot of bad people roaming around.

I heard that they are banning cell phones in school now or trying to since people are getting caught text messaging the answers while testing and cheating in other ways also. What I don't get is them standing right next ot each other but texting..lol Worse place to text I would think would be while your styling someones hair at a salon..and then forget how long a solution has been on the persons head..but the most dangerous is while driving a car.

I think it is very rude to use a cell phone or text mesages to people during those times. some people just cannot live without a phone to their ear though LOL.

I wouldn't be one to tell. In general, if something serious is going on which you are supposed to be paying attention to, it is inappropriate to text. If it is inappropriate to talk, it is probably inappropriate to text. An exception might be the library. Otherwise, I think that holds pretty true.

I use text a lot in toilet :P What's so gross about it when your hands are still clean? It is gross if you touch your phone after your toilet break, not before or during. ;) A bad place to text message is while driving, but the worst place is when you are in the air - flying.

LOL! I found that texting in my living room while watching tv, or if you are shopping for that right thing might be appropriate. I don't like doing it when I am in deep conversation with anyone, in meetings, on the toilet, or just to be rude. I had an ex that sent me about 13 messages, I think, and when I finally asked him where he was he sent a pix message of him in the stall at work. I just about puked! This was horrible. I told him so. I don't do it in church either for fear God will be the one texting back. Just a weird feeling! Happy mylotting!

I think there is no actual good or bad place to text other people. You just need to use you discression. If you are at a wedding you know it would be rude to send a text message there so don't. If you decide to send a text message while you are on the toilet.... maybe you have a good reason for it. But otherwise I find that quite frankly disgusting and unsanitary. But as I said in the begining there is no right place to send text messages, just use your common sense.
