I am just interested on how often and how many cellphones a person have had. I had eight (8) cellphone in the past, not including my current one. The change is due to wear and tear of the cellphone and not mainly just to upgrade to a newer model or version. I currently use a Sony Ericsson but I am a Nokia fanatic before.
How about you? How many cellphones have you had and what is your purpose of changing?=)

Three! Nokia 3310 for 3 yrs! Then Nokia 6630 for another 3 years and currently my iPhone! The 3310 was for the necessity because I stayed in a dorm back in high school. The 6630 was my graduation gift. Acquired an iPhone from my dad because I badly want it! Hahaha

Most of my cellphones are hand me down, but I was able to buy a china made nokia N series. So far it is doing great. I still can use it after 8 months. So officially, I only have 1 owned cell phone.

i'm not sure how many cellphones i've had, exactly, but i can recall ten other than the one i'm currently using. of those ten, i lost one, left one in a taxi, two were stolen, two came free with the postpaid plan...i only bought one with my own money, the rest were gifts. =)

My house is like a phone shop. My hubby change phone almost every 6 mths. In my house, I have samsungX1, song-ericsonX4, motorrolaX1, nokia X3, Q-tek X1, Siemen X1. Let's count: 11 phones.I seldom change phones cos i like my phone, if i spoilt it, i just go n take from him. My hubby change phone cos he use sony ericsson and later complain it is slow and cannot accept the data volume etc etc and he went to order online. The lastest he has is Nokia communicator. Hope this 1 lasts!

This is a very good discussion because it seems almost everyone has a cell phone these days, and everyone is always walking around talking on their cell phone or texting on their cell phone,I think I personally have had like four cell phones three with Sprint and one with Alltel the first was a big cell phone which was too big for my pocket so I traded it to my father for a small Nokia, which fit in my pocket and I was very happy with it,then when I was interning at a computer shop,it fell in the toilet,so I got another phone exactly like it,and then when we switched to Alltel I got a LG phone that I was completely happy with, and it is the same one my mother has,but it fell off my belt and got run over by a big truck and a car so it does not work any longer, and but I am not worried, but me and my fiance will hopefully get another phone, when my parents contract ends.

Over the course of years I think I have had about 7 or 8 cell phones. I think I got my first cell phone in 2000.

So far, it's 7. My first one was a Nokia 3210 and my current one is an N95. All of them are Nokia except for one which was a Siemens SX1 that broke down after a year and a half. I'm not really into buying new phones for the purpose of upgrading them. I'm lucky that these are usually given to me as gifts! :)
