Do you know what I dislike about the new Mylot?

Well, we have a new Mylot outlook some time these year. The new revamped Mylot sure looks more professional and presentable to me. However, there is just one thing that I really don't like about the new way they used to display the order of our discussion.
Before the changes, the most recent discussion thread that has been answered will rise to the top page of the discussion page. Now, only the most recent discussion thread started by us will go to the top spot in the discussion area.
This algorithm in displaying the discussion thread is really a turn off to many people , including me, as we won't able to find out easily which are the latest discussion thread that have been answered.
Is there anyone here has the same feeling as me? If yes, I hope the admin will do something about this even enough members here think that this method should be reverted to the old way to make it more convenient for us to track the latest answered post.

I was actually very new to myLot....
I just started yesterday.
That's actually quite true of you.
I have noticed that people tend to be ignoring the newer posts nowadays.
I have been posting lately and yet less people are able to reply so I just scan to other areas and reply there.
I don't know how the earlier myLot versions looked like.
Well, I suppose myLot will soon do something about this really.

I wonder why such a algorithm is being used. It looks pretty inefficient to me. It will discourage many people from actively participate in this forum. I will keep my fingers crossed and pray hard that it will be reverted to the way it is before the changes.

I think so,I even can't find which questions I like,and I only find the newest,I don't like this way,but I can't do nothing.

Have you tried using the search bar in the top page? You can locate the topic that you like in the discussion with it.

Well, there are a lot of things that I actually like a lot better in here. I think this site is actually more easy to navigate now than it used to be. It just takes some time sometimes learning how to do so. I also enjoy the New way they do the way to find the New discussions just started, or discussions with no responses, friends discussions, etc. For me, it seems to make it more easier to find things I need too. You should have seen this site way back when I first started... These are Great additions this site continues to do for sure.

Well, basically I like all the other features in the new site outlook. It looks more professional as the font size now is a tad smaller and the arrangement of the tabs are more systematic. It is just the order of the latest answered thread that I despised.

I like the new look, but I have never been able to find what I am looking for on MyLot. I joined three years ago and made money and enjoyed it, but I got so tired of surfing through the entire site to find whatever it is I wanted that I just gave up. I just started back recently because I missed the conversation.
I do like being able to move the boxes around on the frontpage, though. I am able to better control the order in which the information is presented and once I've been here a while, I think I'll figure everything out. So overall, I like it.

Someone really needs to edit all the conversations anyway. Weed-out the spammy ones, delete all the duplicates (particularly the ones with bad spelling and grammar, etc.), and just do some general maintenance.
I don't envy that task! There are thousands of conversations here now!

I, too, love the new outlook in Mylot. Answer more posts and make some new threads and you will know what I am trying to tell you. It is very different from the old days. As your thread won't rise to the top spot even though it is being answered, your thread won't able to garner many replies as what happen in the past!

To be honest with you, I never even noticed there were some changes here except one.
When I am posting a discussion or response my page goes on and on and doesnt' go to the
next line. So it looks like I have one great big long sentence.
I don't know if this is a mylot change or if it is a problem with my computer. I have
a sneaky feeling it is my computer. I don't like it, no matter why it does it, and so
I have to keep entering after I get to the end of the line, so that I can see my
whole posting. Otherwise I only see one long continuous line and can't read it all

Yep, Chris. It is your computer problem. What browser are you using? Perhaps you could ininstall, power off the pc and then reinstall it again to make the problem goes away.

Yeah, it bothers me, too. I get emails that there is a new response in my topic, but I come to myLot and can't find the topic! Sometimes it is on Page 3 already! I think topics with recent answers should be on top! I hope everybody else feels that way, too! :)

Yeah, I kinda notice that as well but I like the new mylot so far. But it would be great if they bring that certain feature here in mylot. Happy Mylotting! Cheers!
