i don't think it has any use, that's why people who have some parts within the vicinity of the appendix surgically removed would also have their appendix taken out at the same time, since it does nothing and just puts you at risk for appendicitis. it's probably something evolution has overlooked until now. maybe in the future, as humans continue to evolve, it would just disappear along with other unnecessary body parts such as underarm hair. :p

Interesting answer, magicslate. Thanks for that. If it's useless, should we ignore it? Is it a sign or proof of human being lack of knowledge? Or, our creator is imperfect? If it's probably something evolution has overlooked until now, how we know it will disappear in the future? I just asking and want to make sure about this topic.
Thanks again and be blessed...

i think we can afford to ignore our appendix as long as it's not giving us any trouble. but, i don't think the fact that humans have it despite not having any perceived practical value has any bearing on human knowledge. maybe our creator has reasons why appendices exist, even if we can't fathom those reasons. just because we're imperfect doesn't mean our creator is, i think. =) as for knowing if the appendix will eventually disappear...it was just a wild guess. hehe. like all things that have yet to happen, it's uncertain.
also, perhaps i'm wrong in the first place. maybe the appendix does have some value that i'm unaware of.
thanks for giving your comment!
