I did! I lost my wedding ring. I am soo stressed about it. I loved that ring so much! I usually take it off in the show and put it on the high shelf on my surround so that if i do forget to put it back on my young children can't grab it when their in the bath tub. Well I did that about three days ago and i kept forgeting to go get it and put it back on. Well this morning when i went to go take a shower It wasn't there. I tore the bathroom apart. The only thing i can think of is that the children did some how get the ring and flushed it down the toilet. But they usually don't play with the toilet when their taking a bath and I'm in there with them. but n-eways.. I told my husband he's like we'll find it! He didn't seem too worried about it. I know that it's a material thing and can be replaced but I LOVED THAT RING!!! We will be married for a year come November 3 and I already lost this ring! What would you do in a situation like this?

Maybe your husband found it, that is why he did not seem worried. He may give it back to you on your anniversary, that will save him a gift to get I'm not making light of this, just want to try to make you feel better. That would be the only answer, if you didn't move it and it is too high for the children to reach, don't worry it will show up. I almost lost mine once, my husband and I were returning from a trip in the Poconos, and he stopped at a gas station. I decided to put lotion on my hands and took my ring off and put it in my lap. I then decided to get something out of the trunk. My husband returned and started the car up, and told him to wait, because I wanted to get to the trunk again. We I opened the door and looked down, there was my ring on the ground. I am so glad that I had second thoughts to go into the trunk, otherwise my ring would have been long gone to me. My sister actually lost her's. My infant nephew was in the hospital pediatric ward when he was born. In order to visit you had to remove all jewelry and wair a mask and sterile gowns. My sister put her rings in the little bag to retrieve when she was done visiting. Well, she left and forgot her rings, the hospital is about 25 miles from her house. She called the hospital to let them know that she did not pick up her personal items, and they told her there was not property of hers there. She went back to the hospital and was told the same thing. I guess someone got a nice ring to sell or pawn

lol I could image my husband would do something like that, thinking that he was being sweet. lol. Thankz, I guess i'm not the only one that has done this! I'm sorry to hear that about your nephew is he okay now? I would be so mad if the hospital did that because once they make you take it off and give it to them to hold they should be responsible for it!

Well, I'm inclined to think that your husband came across it up there and hid it to teach you a lesson. Or that he put it up for safe keeping. Maybe i'm the only person whose husband would find that hilarious though!!! Anyhow, the likeliness of finding it is pretty good as not to many things make their way to the toilet. I do understand how you feel thoug. I told my husband when we married that I wanted a ring upgrade on our five year anniversary and he said ok. When it came time to upgrade, I felt so guilty cause I loved my wedding set that I couldn't do it. I'll probably have this one forever, unless I lose it! LOL. I'm sure you will find it. My mom lost her ring one day and they didn't find it for a month. Then, she was cleaning and moving stuff around and it was underneath the microwave cart. Things end up in the oddest places and I'm sure yours will to although I would definitly discount my husband as a practical joker or lesson teacher! :-)

lol.. That came across my mind. I thought maybe he did something with it, but he seen how upset i was this morning and i figured if he seen that, that he would confess but he didn't. I do hope it comes up somewhere, because i'm wearing my engagement ring as our wedding band and it's just not the same. Thankz for resonding!

Oh dear, I sm so sorry. I am sure you tore the bathroom apart. But, you need to go back in there and search methodically. While you were tearing, it might have wound up under something. Look slowly and carefully. Keep hoping. And check the drains and the toilet tank.

Good day... I think it's sensible for your husband just to encourage you that you'll find it eventually that look disappointed at you right? I mean if it's in the house and no one flushed it or took it to other place then I think it's only there hiding somewhere waiting to be found.

Try your best to recall where you last saw it. Ask your husband, ask your children, ask everyone in your house. You could probably use a metal detector to look for it. Look out for those hidden nooks and crannies. There must be out there somewhere. If you still can't find it, then I guess it is destined to be that way. Get your husband to get you another one :D new ring! Who knows, maybe in the coming years when you are doing spring cleaning, something lost long time ago will magically pop out from no where. I wish you all the best :)

It's good that you told your husband about it immediately. I'll do the same when I am in your situation. It's a material thing but it's the bond of understanding and the commitment that you uttered during the ceremony that matters. I hope you'll find the ring.
