do you have dreams that you dream of over and over again?

when i was a child i used to have this recurrent dream. it would start with me sitting on the sand in a secluded beach. the only people were me and a couple - a girl and a guy in their late teens or early twenties. i would watch them laughing, playfully splashing water on each other. and then suddenly my point of view would change and i would be somewhere on the sea behind them, still watching them frolicking in the waves. then for some reason they would start fighting, and the fight would escalate to the point of both of them throwing glass bottles at each other. at this point, i would approach the couple - i'm not sure how because i'm not swimming or paddling a boat; i would just find myself looking over the guy's shoulder - and at closer range i would discover two things: one, that the girl is bleeding severely and is about to die as the guy cries in remorse while cradling her in his arms, and two, that the girl is actually an older version of me.
