Have you seen a discussion that has 500 responses... or more?

Actually I have. However I wouldn't respond to it, unless it was relatively new. After all, I may have already done so and to try to find out by searching page after page of responses would take forever, and even longer because I'm on dial-up. How about you, did you respond to the discussion dolce?

Seriously? That's crazy! What was it about? I've never seen a discussion with 200+ responses yet. Yikes! I wish I could be that successful a year from now haha. Maybe you should post the link here. Or mylot can have a link to the "discussions with most respondents." That would be cool...

I ever see the highest is around 200+. I was some shock to see that now you mention 800+ i am even shock. I hope to have that much for my discussion but the most i have was 54. That my record. I wonder what topic he started to get that much response.

I have never seen a discussion with 300 or 500 responses although I have read discussions like yours letting us mylotters know that such discussions do actually exist. I am amazed at the number that respond and would only wish that one day I could be lucky enough to recieve a glorious response like that. Will keep my eyes peeled in future for the discussion with the hefty response figures.

since i am new here, i have't seen a discussion with 500 response,it's really surprising.can you list some of these discussion,i really want to know what the most intensice discussion is.hehe.i know there are about 10000 Chinese friends here, but we find no common interests here ,maybe one day we will find it.

OMG!!! that is really a lot of responses... no, i never see that many responses to a discussion before... i would like to receive that many responses to my discussions as well... if i can hit 50 responses, i will be lucky... it is so hard to get responses to my discussions... that's why i am a bit reluctant to start a discussion nowadays and prefer to respond more... take care and have a nice day...

Once I started a discussion regarding members' favorite discussion. In that discussion, I was told by one of my friends here e.g. Polachica that she started a discussion on computer vs TV and she continue to receive responses till date, it had more than 800 responses, at that time and moreover, due to number of responses, she has awarded best response in that disucssion many a times, as she was asked by mylot or her discussion was shown unresolved many a times, even after choosing the best response.

I have never seen a discussion with that many responses but I wish I had written it! The most I've ever seen is I guess between 150-200. I wonder how a discussion could become that big? I guess it would have to be a discussion that fired up emotions and created a debate. I think my biggest discussion was around the 100 mark. I can't rememebr what it was about but I was pretty happy with myself!

Honestly, I have not seen a discussion like that, probably that its not among my interests which doesn't make me encounter it up to now.. that's very impressive as it must have been a very interesting discussion to accumulate over that much responses. But, if being asked if I would like to have such responses on a discussion of mine, I'd would probably decline. Its kind'a tedious to reply to each response given to a discussion, especially when a particular thought from a page in the discussion was paraphrased over and over by other members who posted on others pages of replies in the discussion. Call me lazy but, if I could hard rephrase replies of the same content that I'd be giving to particular responses and I'd probably wish that those who would like to respond would read up even a few pages of replies before posting their comments. Who knows, what they have though of replying was already given, they might just as well rate that poster positively if it were the case. (^_^")

Oh, really? I'm never see a discussion with such huge number of responses. Of course, I do want it. But I don't know how to get it, confuse to choose the topic. :)

i think ur topic will get more reponses. haha I have seen discussion with 500reponses, but i can't understand why my discussion get so little. even sometimes i think my topics are attractive.

i have seen many days ago. earlier there were few users who use dto get so many rsponses. i have not seen any in recent past. i have never got so much

This should have gone to the mylot book of record for getting such a good response. But I am not surprise with that cos upon checking their friends list they have something like 7000 friends there so it is possible to get that figure if you have many friends. But why should one want to be a collector of responses or friends?

Hello dolce. I used to have read a discussion with more than three hundred responses. It seems to be one of my first friends'. I also wish to have as many responses as I can in one of my discussions. But it is not that easy for me.

The secret in my opinion, of having to many responses was your friend lists, if you have 5000 friend and 10 out of 100 friends of yours respond to your given post then you will have 500 responses. A user on my friend list have 8000 plus of listed friends just in this site, imagine how much responses he might have on a good posted discussion per 100 of his friend. Another was, post a good discussion that everyone can relate and post it an interest that all users cheked to be in their list of interest, such as life, love, relationship and myLot. I was curious so I checked it out first and the discussion was posted 2 years ago and still get responses from mylotters! Wow! I've only been here for 4 months or so and this is my first time seeing a discussion with so many post. Really, MyLot has been around for such a long time.

862 responses? that's amazing! how did they do that? would you mind telling what the discussion is all about? anyway, i haven't also gotten so much responses to my discussions. i am not sure on the number but i guess the responses to my discussions just went for only 3 pages. well, it's okay with me but having alot of responses means something. it is also kind of flattering.
