I think make a new discussion is more consume time than aswering the postings. It making discussion I need to think the topic, finding good sentence and then type it. But for answering I just need to think the good sentence and then type it.
Keep post
Happy myLotting...

It's a bit tricky... It depends on how much you comment on the responses you get.
At a first view, posting a new discussion takes less time than responding other members' discussions, because each response you get for that discussion earns you money without having to do much else, while it takes every single post on other discussions to get the same money.
BUT if you comment every response you get on the discussions you've started, it might take longer than responding discussions.
I prefer responding discussions because I don't like to start new discussions on topics that were already debated (I've seen some discussions over and over again) which is also a bit against the guidelines...

I prefer participating in good discussions than creating so many topics. A far as my experience is concerned creating too many topics is not a good source of earnings here! It's good if you have the ability to create good topics that will always get hotly participated in by Users around. You are not sure if all those topics will get many responses so if they did not, your earnings will get affected. So my preference is to post one new topic only in a day if I have a good topic on my mind and then respond to as many discussion of others as I can. Many times though, I can't think of good topic so I don't bother myself thinking of new topic but rather I spend my time for the day day just participating actively around. But I make sure I choose quality and sensible topics so I could give longer and more sensible responses in order to get better earning for every responses I submit. I think that is very, very effective because that way I can reach the payout even before the middle of the month comes.

As to which takes time the most...I believe it will depend on how long is your post. I actually does not matter to me if it is taking much of my time answering a post for as long as I am typing sensible things to make my post useful. I thing the longer the post and the more quality added to it...the higher benefits one would get. Posting a new topic on the other hand will not take much time if you only post few lines with it but if you post a longer one then it will take time of course.

I think it depends. If you have a long post then it will take time.Same as making responses also.If you make long responses then it will also take time.So i think its just the same.

Hello ronaldinu
I definatly find it more time consuming starting discussions as I tend to write a little story as to what is behind why I am starting the discussion. I usually upload a picture too and that can sometimes take time too. With responding to discussions it is up to you how much or little you decide to contribute to that discussion.

I tend to spend more time responding. It's impossible not to find discussions to respond to. People post such excellent thoughts and questions, as I respond (or reply), I usually wonder why I didn't think of it myself...lol
My best would-be posts usually occur when I'm away from my computer. Then, when I'm online again I've forgotten all about it. Kind of like going to another room to get something, and forgetting what it was when you get there.

I think that posting new discussions are more time consuming because one has to think of something to say, look for the interest, start the discussion, possibly upload a photo, add tags, and then start the discussion. Responses can all be made based on the discussions you are responding to. That doesn't take any time at all.

It would always be easier to answer or comment on a certain discussion than posting a new discussion. The tough part of posting a new one is that you have to think of a topic that certainly interests you and other people who will read it.
In answering a discussion, the topic was already given and most of the time you choose to answer that topic because there's already that idea in your mind.

I think posting responses to other people's discussions is more time consuming. I first want to find discussions that I can give more than a one line answer. I want to be able to contribute to that person's discussion, not just leave one lame line that no cares about. I would like to post more discussions myself, but I also want them to be interesting. And I usually post discussions when something just pops into my mind out of nowhere. Honestly though, I enjoy posting to other people's discussions more than anything else on mylot.

Answering posts. When I write a discussion it takes no time at all .But since I have so many great friends that write great posts, it takes a lot of time to answer all the posts.

I prefer answering posts, its easier, and usually I always have something to say..lol. I don't post discussions too much, because I can't ever think of anything to write about, I've had a few posts which I thought were interesting but I didn't get very many responses from them, I have some that just bombed too..lol. So I prefer just answering posts.

I prefer to answer discussion. All my friends write quality ones so it is best to let them has the headache. On a serious note whenever I write discussions I hardly receive as many responses that I would like. I think that I am too honest whenever I write a post and person will only tolerate it in responses but to actually go to one discussion and participate I think that they are afraid. So in seeing this I prefer the responding.
With friends like you, Irish etc who is always posting I don't think I need to post. I am just as comfortable responding it doesn't really matter to me.

You would think that it's posting or answering your responses to your post. But in actuality I believe it to be answering other post that many others put out for us to respond to.
There are many people here and if we answer many of the post that our friends and others write then responding to these will add up to more time. At least for me it does. It's probably different for others that post alot of their on discusions. Like having several a day.

I think answering of postis more time consuming because one has to reply to many discussions in order to earn more, or have to post quanlity comments in order to earn.. But when it comes to starting a new discussion, it's not as tedious, for our eanrings will depend on the amount of ple responding to it.. haha
But still, i like to respond as compared to starting a new discussion, because i love to interact around, and making more frenz ^_^ hehe

I like answering posts more. But there are times, when I looked on some discussions in a particular interest, where everything seems to be boring, and that's when I post or initiate discussions.

For me it's answering posts, posting discussions are hard only because it's hard to come up with new ideas for the subject.
