i never go to the laundry shop for my laundry. I am doing it my own. Even if I have washing machine I still do it by hand the other things like the white socks and white shirt? I make it sure that they are cleaned properly. Even washing machine can not clean if clothes are too dirty.

I used to do the laundry until last year.It is now my husbands turn now after thirty two years. We did not have the chance to take our clothes to these laundry shops because we always have the time to wash our own clothes.I miss washing our clothes because I'm not allowed to do tiring house hold chores since I had my first heart failure.

During everyday life, I have always washed my own clothes, at least two loads of laundry every week. The one time I didn't was while we were away for a month and the hotel had staff that did laundry twice a week. It was nice to get a break, but I thought it was a bit expensive.

I never send my laundry to the shop. Not because I have personal issues with them but I don't have the money to send laundry. Lol. However doing my own laundry brings satisfaction to me. This is because by doing my own laundry I can know the level of cleanliness in each of my clothings. I hang them one by one and I know when there is any uncleaned stain so I could wash it again. If I send it to the laundry shop, I don't know how they wash them. They might use recycled water, who knows? I've heard that a shop near my place is using rinsing water from the previous wash to do the first cycle of washing of the next basket of laundry. Isn't it awful? So it is better if we do everything on our own so that we can get the best.

Like you, I also do my own laundry. I just bring it to the laundry shop if there's really no time to wash my used clothes. When there's nothing to be done inside the house or when I'm stressed, I will just take some of my used clothes and wash it. I don't know why it is one of the ways that I can distress.

No, I've never really done my own laundry because in the Philippines we have house helpers to do that. I only wash garments made of silk or lace so that it doesn't get damaged. But hand washing a few small items of clothing is really easy. I can't imagine having to wash my own jeans every day!

I have always done my own laundry. I used to have to go to the laundromat, and it was ok...Then when I got on my own, our townhome had a washer and dryer in it, so ut was very convient. Our new apt has one in it also, so it's really great. I cannot stand doing y laundy at the laundromat anymore. I did take my laundry to the cleaners to be washed once. This dumb girl told me it would be ready later that evening, and when I went back they told me that it wouldn't be ready until tommorrow. The girl who took my clothing even wrote the time they would be ready on my ticket. Well, they ended up doing my laundry for free. I told them I was not going to pay, and I wanted my clothes back, and they had started doing some already. I had some towels, they did not put them back in the bag. I was so angry, but I just let it go.

I live in an apartment and we have machines for everybody to do laundry. Sometimes so many people doing laundry you have to come back later.

I do my own laundry. I'm probably one of the few but I actually enjoy doing laundry. I do all of my laundry on Friday evenings and then Saturday mornings I iron everything. I just recently got one of the fold down from the wall ironong boads and it is awesome. It is so handy and has a compartment to store your iron and starch and stuff. Pretty neat! What can I say it doesn't take much to thrill me! LOL

yes. i do and i normally dun send to the laundry shop except for those expensive coat and dresses my wife had. it is also not cost effective to send everything to the laundry when i can do it myself with a washing machine. most items i would just dump them into the washing machine and add in a lot of powder, detergent. the troublesome part is to take them up and sun them.

I usually do my own unless I'm pressed for time, or want something pressed because I want to look nice for an interview or something. I have also noticed that where I live at least this is deffinately a lack of quality in the services of the local laundromat.
