If i find a coin on the ground I usually pick it up, all those odd coins laying around on the ground add up.

If I see a coin on the ground I usually do pick it up. I don't care how small or large I do pick it up. I mean, what is the point in letting perfectly good money go to waste? Sure it may only be a few cents, but eventually, that money does start to add up. You can add it to a piggy bank or something and just watch the money start to pile up.

Do you know the saying " see a penny , pick it up , all day long you'll have good luck."? Well, that's what I do. If I see a coin, I will pick it up.Every little bit counts.

My hubby has a jar that he picks up coins he finds on the ground and puts them in the jar. You would be surprised to see how fast they add up. I see nothing wrong with picking up change that has been dropped on the ground. I sometimes pass up pennies if I see them, but a nickle or a dime or quarter I am going to pick up. whenyou say labor, does that mean it takes an effort to bend over and pick it up, not much effort to bending and picking up something, bet it would not be an effort if it was paper money on the ground.

I always do. It is good luck to find any coin. It can be as small as one cent.
In fact few days ago I found 1Euro on the ground.
You never know....

It is good luck to find a coin heads up, so if I see one heads up I'll pick it up and put it in my pocket. If a coin is tails up sometimes I'll pick it up to drop it again hoping it will land on heads for the next person to find and have good luck. It wouldn't bring me luck if I picked it up again, since I found it on tails up.

If I see a coin even if it is a penny I pick it up. If you pick up enough pennies they add up. I do not understand why people do not pick up money then dropped.

Yep! I sure do! Lucky penny comes to mind, and of course when it's worth more, even better.
I try to not pick up a coin though if it's tails down, since it's bad luck...I THINK that's the way it is, unless head's up, means, literately heads up ha ha.

I always pick up coins when I see them laying on the ground. Money is money and it all adds up to be saved or spent.

I don't think I would pick up a coin on the ground. In fact, I have faced this problems countless times and have never bothered to bend over to pick up a coin.
Firstly, it is not worth the time. The value of a single coin is too small, and many people who just ignore it. In fact, the large coin denominator can hardly buy you anything in my country.
Secondly, the money is not hard earned. I found it by luck or chance, there is no justification to claim that money as my own. In fact, even if there was a 100 dollar bill, I would still not pick it up because it is just not mine.
cheers! :)
