do you get along with argumentative people?

I have friends who are argumentative although i hate unhealthy arguments but I do argue for the sake of argument but the sad thing is I never let them win the argument and they won't let me win either. We just end up laughing at one another.
What about you do you get along with argumentative people?

Am a quiet person and do not talk alot such that if I meet argumentative people sometimes I get irritated and keep quiet. When somebody start arguing and do not want to listen to other people's view, I just keep cool and let him finish, normally it is very difficult to push your thought when they argue and when they relax somehow I do try to speak out, although when I get to speak they take the debate as if they are the one who knows how to chart.
