I feel presently the best striker in EPL is Fernando Torres of Liverpool. The kind of form in which he is at the present moment, he can dismantle any defense. Not only that he is also very good in creating scoring opportunities for team players as well. Even I feel Wayne Rooney is equally good but for selecting only player I will nominate Fernando Torres.

Yeah, I think I'd have to vote for Torres too. Superb player (though Rooney has been excellent so far this season)

Wayne Rooney is the best striker in english premier league. he is in great form . he has scored nine goals in his seven goals for club and country. you can't stop him from scoring goals. he is on fire at the moment. and with berbatov scoring two goals verses celtic it will boost rooney's and berbatov's partnership and rooney will score surely more goals than ronaldo this season.
