What is the worst thing that your parents do now that you are older?

My parents call me everyday even though I dont live with them and have my own family, and they ask all sorts of questions, if I have been eating breakfest, did i take a shower? Just like they did when I was a little girl. What do your parents do that bothers you?

Sounds just like my mother. I had to, literally, have a nervous breakdown before I saw it. Don't let her do it to you. Stand up for yourself and be strong!!!

The absolute worst thing that my mother has ever done to me, both as a child and as an adult, has been to ignore my brother's nastiness toward first me and now my 8 year old daughter. He is a despicable person and has said some of the meanest, nastiest things that I have ever heard from the mouth of a human being. How he can be so verbally nasty to a little girl is beyond me. But my mother, literally, looks the other way and pretends not to hear him, and has the audacity to act shocked when I bring it up to her. She has done this all of my life, but he will not ever do this to my daughter again. He is out of our lives for good.

What I don't like from my parents for now is that they are trying to control my life for now. I don't like it because I am not a grown up person and I really think that I should be able to get my own life and I don't need to report whatever I do to them. I know I still rely on them so much but I don't think they can control my life like what they used to do when I was younger back then.

Well am not living with my parents and have my own family. But what bothers me most is that they take care of me and my small needs.They are there for me whenever i need them irrespective of them being well or not.They take care of me more than they take care of themselves. They never tell me if they are not well just coz they dont want me hasseled. Eve if it just letting me know about their health,they lie to me. I get so upset coz i wish i can be with them to take care of them. They understand all my moods just by listening to my voice. I cannot even lie to them if i am upset and they do it so well to keep me away from tension.Wish i can be like them to my children.They give me all the space i need. Never touch my family life or advice me, never interfere. They only do so when asked to do. Wish god to make me like them.

I love my parents and they love me too. the worst thing they have done is they didn't like my boyfriend and asked me to leave him. I feel sad and give up the boy cause I really love my parents and never want to do anyting that will make them unhappy. I think parents just hope we can live a better life, so they care for us.
