Bit o' Honey - Chili Beef - The Roast Beef and Cheddar - Gone or hard to find

Why is it that when I get to really like something, it becomes hard to find or gets discontinued? Bit o'Honey is one of my very favorite candies and it's really hard to find. Chili Beef soup, which I grew up with, isn't made any more! The roast beef and cheddar sandwich that Jack in the Box came up with some years ago - gone! I guess my taste just isn't the same as the majority of folks. Did you used to really like to eat something and now you can't find it any more?

I love Bit O Honey. I don't know where you live but if you have a Menard's in your town, they sell Bit O Honey there. I've never heard of Chili Beef soup. and I haven't seen a Jack in the Box around here since I was a 8yrs old. We use to go there all the time. Now it's a Big Bubba's...Don't ask.

There is Bit O Honey at Linens n Things, unfortunately they are going out of business (so I bought a few bags lol). At least I can get that online. The chili beef was a Campbell's soup. They changed it to Fiesta Chili Beef and spiced it up a bit and then that wasn't available either. We do have Jack in the Box here, they just don't have that sandwich any more. But it's a really crummy Jack in the Box. Big Bubba's? Sounds Southern...

Big Bubba's is a burger and sub shop. The owners could be Southern but I don't know. I've never been there. I can't walk into a place called Big Bubba's, it just sounds greasy! I'm sure the food is good and I have absolutely no problem eating greasy food but I would at least like to assume the food is cooked in vegetable oil. Big Bubba's sound more like lard.

I just saw some Bit O' Honey last night when I stopped at the gas station. They have them individually wrapped in bags of about 10 for 59 cents each or 2 for $1. I hate it when there is something that you really like and then you cannot find it anymore. When I was living in Illinois there was this soda called Green River. I really liked it. I have not seen it since leaving Illinois almost 5 years ago. I guess it was a local thing.

I guess it was! Never heard of it myself. But have you looked for it online? Almost anything is available online if you know where to look!

I looked it up online before and I know they still make it. I am sure I could really get a hold of some if I was willing to pay for shipping. Soda is pretty heavy though, so I doubt I will do that.

Those bit o honey candies are everywhere in my town. They are in every grocery store in large bags, small bags. We see TONS of them in haloween candy bags. Have you checked online? I bet you could find them relatively easily there. We have beef n cheddar sandwiches but they are at Arbys. I have not heard of Jack in the Box...

I did find bit o honey at Linens n' things but they're going out of business. They are not in stores here, but I can get them online. Yep, I'm familiar with Arby's and I do love their sandwiches, but this particular one and Jack in the Box was really good while it lasted!
