I get over 200 visitors a week almost without any effort

Great, curious! I only get visitors with TX, but i want to change this. I have to read more about SEO and how it helps site...

My new blog Abundance! is less than two months old. It gets more than fifty hits every day so the weekly total must be at least 350, but I think it's generally more than that. My blog already has 33 posts and 16 comments, 9 categories and 166 tags. It has PR1 and more than a hundred incoming links. I don't use traffic exchange or entrecard, I have submitted to some blog directories. I place backlinks on quality sites and I add relevant comments to other blogs. I still think I'm not getting enough traffic. My blog has already paid me money, but it is only the beginning of what I intend to be a successful long term venture.

That's great! You must have good keyword optimization, then. I'm getting a lot of hits to my crochet blog that I started, because I'm a member of a very active forum for people that crochet, and we all visit each other's. I do add to it almost every day, but I think so far only one visitor has been from a search. It's still pretty new, although I have 12 entries on it so far. I think I'm getting between 50-100 hits a day.

nice to hear that your blog has that much traffic without any efforts.even the daily updated blogs are sometimes getting less than this traffic.i think you are lucky to get the traffic. i also have blogs and is finding difficult to get some traffic there. i am also not using any traffic exchange sites and is updating the blog only in a week or 2 weeks .but my blogs average traffic is only 35-50 visitors per week. can you share some tips that can be used to get some traffic to my blog .

Good on you, so many visitors for little effort. My blog only brings me around 45 visitors a day.I had been working really hard to increase traffic until I had to travel to the other side of the country for a family emergency. Upon my return which was a couple of weeks later I disovered that, although I had not added any posts, submitted to directories or link exchange etc.. my traffic actually was increasing a little bit. Go figure.

Well, you should promote your blog more. Promoting the Blog more can bring in more money. You may also put some good content and videos if you can.

Wow, 200 visitors a week and you rarely update? That's good. I rarely update my blog, maybe about once or twice a week at most and the only traffic I get is less than 50 a week. I don't do traffic exchange or any other sites but I do post my blog url to my Facebook, Multiply and Friendster account and also here in MYLOT but no luck. I wonder what I'd do or post just to reach my target of 1000 traffic before the end of 2008.

I'm getting an average of 250 hits a week according to my traffic counter; an average of 150 visitors I hadn't thought of checking this so good discussion curiousman

Hey, give me some tips here. Where do you host your blog and what is the subject, and how do your drive traffic to it? 200+ per week is a very acceptable number of visitors. Let me know what you are doing that makes it so successful. Hey, would you consider putting a link on for me?

Maybe there are people who have linked to you before. And maybe there are those that liked your blog. Anyways, Entrecard is very helpful when it comes to traffic. I get around 200 a day. I even think that is small. Anyways, I'm still on my second month of blogging so I expect that to grow more.

It seems your blog is interesting and attractive.I have a blog many month ago.And I am lazy,I don'tupdate it a very long time.So when I sign in it few days ago,I found there were only 100 visitors...

Your question prompted me to check my stats. According to my logs, on the one blog I've had up for awhile, for the month of October, I get 159 visitors daily (about 1,100 per week) and the one I started early this month is getting about 33 visitors daily (about 230 weekly). I think Blogrush helped get this number up quickly. I posted about it in both my blogs. Cheers, Stan
