Do you know someone that have the habit to talk and give nudge at the same time? I hate it. All the time I try to avoid the elbow or finger but it still nudging me. Why people have these kind of habits? And you? Do you get annoyed with this too?

oh i tell them :P nothing mean, nothing serious, but I do say some witty stuff when people do that Hey stop touching, this sh1t ain't free :) Or if they do it 3-4 times, I wait and when it's my time to respond, I nudge right back, only I do it all the 3-4 times in the SAME sentence. That usually gets the point across pretty well :P

Hi antiquelady. Yes, it is a bad habit people have. They are good persons but the habit isn't. Thanks for your response dear.

There are many people that do this or talk with their hands. It distracts me sometimes for hands to be constantly moving around when someone is talking. Most of the time I manage to ignore this.

Hi dear moondancer. Yes you are right but it is hard to ignore when people are nudging you all the time. I really don't like it the same way I don't like people touching me with their hands when talking. Which the need of this? Thanks for your response dear.

Yes! Thank you for bringing this up. I hate it when people talk to me and feel the need to nudge me with their elbow at the same time. I tend to move away from them if I can, without seeming too obvious. I don't think they would like it if I did that to them. Sometimes I'm not sure if they realize they are even doing it. I don't think they would want to annoy me on purpose...

Hi AmbiePam. Of course they don't want to annoy you on purpose, but they do it. I wonder how people get this habit. Thanks for your reply.

I also don't like being touched by people when they are talking. The way we are taught as children not to invade someones space and don't touch them is the way I feel. I think some people think they get their point across better if they touch us or it lays a "personal feel" to what they are trying to convey. That's the only thing I can think of why they do this.

Yes, I know a couple people who do that all the time, and I hate it also. I've told them not to do it and I'm sure others have too. I'm surprised that they haven't gotten the hint yet. LOL! But, like you said, its a habit and I guess they don't even know they're doing it. So, I just keep backing away while I'm talking with them. Happy Mylotting....
